Likes
- The college has a gym 🏋️♀️. Which is quite nice and the auditorium is under renovation, and is really beautiful .
- The central Library here alongwith The reding room which exactly provides the ambience needed for studies .
Dislikes
- There's no playground for girls . There's not much sports facilities here and neither opportunities. The hostel does not provide wi fi .
- There are no clubs , not much of the events are organized. The events organized in sports and clubs happens only once in a year that is during the fest .
- The hostel doesn't provide free wi fi which I think should be provided in every college for studying.
Remarks :
Since it's a government medical college, it is allotted to you via counselling sessions that happen online based on marks you scored in NEET UG. You need to qualify NEET UG for this and unlike all AIIMS it's a state medical college which has implications like it has 15% AIQ seats ( All India Quota seats ) and 85% seat reservation for State Quota. You can either secure a seat here by All India Counselling or via State Counselling. This college is in Dhanbad so it falls under Jharkhand State Counselling. Once you have secured a seat here by any Counselling, dates are released and you have to give a physical appearance in the college along with a set of documents which are reviewed and if cleared you're admitted. There aren't interviews very especially for admission except for the document part and a health test is taken. Once All that is cleared, you're simply admitted to the college. Med school is tough so once you get in, start studying thoroughly for it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The MBBS course consists of 19 subjects in total in 5 years which includes classroom teaching, field visits, clinical postings, real hand experience and much more. In short, the field you have chosen isn't just theoretical teaching but more practical knowledge and practical experience. In the first year you'll have 3 subjects: Anatomy, Biochemistry & Physiology. Every department is best and teaching to their utmost. The first year mainly consists of classroom teaching along with dissection in Anatomy, and practical classes along in Biochemistry and Physiology. 3 terminal exams are held followed by a University exam. No scholarship is provided but since it's a government college, the fee itself is very low and for girls, the academic tuition fee is 0.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship because I am still a first-year student and yeah the college provides in the township in All the departments of the hospital for 3 months regularly rounding off to another department.
Placement Experience :
There's no placement. However, the internship begins in the final year itself and is a part of the course. The internship happens in the 5th year itself and after the completion, you get the degree of a doctor. The stipend for an intern in my college is 17500/- and after completing MBBS, you may either opt for NEET PG or stay as a JR ( Junior Resident ). The estimated salary of a JR here is 50000/-.
Campus Life :
There's only one fest conducted in a year. Saraswati Puja fest conducted during the time of Saraswati Puja also known as SP. It is conducted in the month of February. It consists of a cultural part and the Puja part mainly the Puja. It lasts around a month entire January and till the Puja including the sports that happen around here. The library is great and books are available all the time for all the subjects and the college also provides prep ladder classes for free for 2 hrs daily in the library. There are not many sports facilities around here except for during the fest when it's at its peak. And there are no clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for a hostel and the infrastructure of the hostel is really good. We have been provided double seater rooms in the first year. The room is big enough to accommodate 2 people just nicely. The hostel does have a mess but they all have private mess. There are multiple messes here and you can choose any of them. The taste depends on your taste buds. The registration process is quite simple. You just need to fill out a hostel form during the admission and it's done. The hostel charges 4800 per year and a security fee of 5000 INR is deposited. You can also choose to Rent a room in the Kusum Vihar locality or Murli Nagar locality.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
