As For Admission, First We Need To Write An Entrance Exam Called CAT(CUSAT Admission Test) and We Are Alloted to the Seats According To This Rank And The Demand. Now, The Reason for choosing This Is Simple In Kerala, There Are Only 2 Colleges With NBA Accreditation of A+. And Compared To The Syllabus it's The Most Difficult One In Kerala And Has One Of The Greatest Value For Its Certificates. Unlike MBBS BTech Has Great Reasons For Choosing a Better College As The Companies Visiting The Campus And Alumni Are Strong. CUSAT is An Open Campus, it Has Different Departments For Different Courses And The One I Am Studying Is SOE(School Of Engineering) Which Contains 7 Courses (CS, EC, IT, EE, ME.CE, SF). My Reason is Simple, As I Could not Get Admission To NIT Calicut I Chose CUSAT as My Second Option. But With The Right Mindset is easy To Do Anything With Your Life And To Always Have A Backup Plan. Choose The Right College And Enjoy What You Are Studying
The Academics As Mentioned Above Is The Toughest in Kerala, Even When Compared To NITC, So It Is Difficult To Achieve A CGPA Above 9 After 2nd Year. This Year CUSAT Has Also Removed Branch Change, So Choose Wisely During The 1st Year Itself. With This Change, The New Syllabus Has Also Changed Removing Basic Mechanical Engineering And Civil Engineering Related Courses With Stream B(CS, EE, EC, IT) As They do need This Subject For Their Future, One Of The Best Decisions The College Has Ever made Removing Subjects Like Engineering Graphics Where Students mostly Fail, As Of Now There Is No Branch Change In The course Itself But there may Be Change In This decision With Students Changing In The Stream Itself if There Are Seats.
Yes, I Did My 1st Year Internship At A Water Filter Company Named OXPEL Where I Designed The Front End Of The Web Their Website. I Along With A Fellow Friend Did My Internship With Very Expectations But They Helped In Many Ways Making It Easy For Us To Understand The Industry
For Placements, CUSAT Is good when Compared To Others, But Not Everyone In The Branch gets it, It Is Difficult In Students Of EEE To Get A Placement In the Core Itself Most of The Students get Selected in IT Sectors. As Students Do Not Get Qualified For Some Placements As EEE Is Damn tough. It Is Difficult to Land A Job Through Placements, The Only Good Placements In CUSAT are For SFE (Safety And Fire Engineering) With 100% Placement at An Average of 10LPA
The Social Life In CUSAT IS Awesome You Can Make Good Connections And Network In CUSAT With Different Types Of People In Different Departments. There Are Different Sports With Club In CUSAT, As For Technical Clubs Like GDSC And Tinkerhub In Also Present Where I Certainly Am A Member In Both Of These Clubs And You can Meet The Right People With The Right Mindest too. There is Also A Esports Gaming Club Where We Get To Play Competitive Esports games Like Valorant, CSGO With Prize Pools Too, The Campus Is Open So Meeting Different People Is Always On The Charts
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
