- I like this college about the infrastructure, it's built good and attracting , the location of this college , there's very place to visit near this college during vacations
- The faculties here provides are well educated and well oriented to the course , they are very friendly and supportive. The academics schedule is well oriented here
Dislikes
- The campus life is not good here as there is no club , no social life , no proper field no proper ground , no soprts facilities even the campus has no canteen
- The administration do not support to held a fest, strict hostel rules like last entry timing is 9:30 pm .
Remarks :
I allotted this college through All India counseling for MBBS. This college is good in academic orientation, faculty expertise, and patient flow in hospitals associated with this college. The negative point of this college is that the campus not have proper ground no good sports facilities no proper fest support from the head of administration. You can get admission to this college after appearing in the NEET examination and if you cross the cut off rank you can get admission In 2022 session cutoff rank for the general category was around 20000 all India rank through all India quota
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to be a Doctor so chose this course. Teachers are well educated and well oriented to the course and soo friendly, you can get your doubts cleared very easily from faculties. There are at least 5 to 6 faculties in each department which is not that good but enough. Most Professors are post-graduates who are HODs, associate professors and demonstrators, and assistant professors are at least graduated. University exams are conducted once for each academic year (there are 4 academic years in the MBBS curriculum), but 2 internal exams and one pre-university exam are conducted by the college itself during 1 academic year, exams are quiet but if you are sincere enough in studies and through the support of faculties you can easily pass. There is an INR 40000 tuition fee per year and INR 3500 hostel fee per year and INR 6000 non tuition fee per year which include hostel maintenance and library maintenance and others. Scholarships are only for state quota students depending on their reservation.
Internships Opportunities :
In the MBBS course through any college you have to perform a compulsory 1 year internship after course get completed( that is after 4.5 year which include 4 academic year) The average stipend provided to an intern doctor is about INR 18000 per month.
Placement Experience :
Here in Chhattisgarh every government medical college provides a compulsory 2-year rural service bond after completion of course and internship. You will be posted in health centers to work as a doctor average salary for that will be around INR 50000 per month. If you don't want to opt to provide a bond then you have to pay INR 2500000 as general candidate and INR 2000000 as obc, sc, st candidates. If you manage to clear the post-graduate exam then the bond service will be postponed till your course duration My plan after getting degree is to go for post-graduation
Campus Life :
The annual fest here is named KARWAN but has not been held since the year 2022 as the administration is not supportive of the fest here. Minor fest and programs help during Janmashtami and Ganesh puja. Enough books are available in the library. Timing to access books in the library is from 9 am to 5 pm self-study in the library timing is 9 am to 9 pm. So many sports and extracurricular activities are held here, during minor programs some sports like cricket, volleyball, table tennis, and races are help also not on the proper field or ground. No any social group, or clubs for students on this campus.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is average in the hostel not that good, which is why many students have opted to mess outside the college campus, The mess fee is INR 3200 per month other than tuition fees non-tuition fees, and hostel fees. Registration for a hostel is very simple, during the admission process you have to fill in a form regarding your need for a hostel and you will be allocated a hostel immediately, the hostel infrastructure is good it is a 3-floor building but no lift facilities are provided in the hostel. Each room is allocated with 2 students and provides 2 beds,2 chairs, 2 tables, 2 inbuilt wall almirahs and proper lighting bulbs, and one fan. Water and electricity facility is provided with no extra charges for that. If you want to rent a room or PG, it is easily available around the college campus with affordable prices

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
