I got admission easily but it took time and at last told them to say yes or no because was gonna get into another college but because of the reputation of this college I was hoping to get into in. There is no test or interview for admission. Teaching is kinda average but teachers are good as guides they explain everything well. And as I said it's easy to get into this college but I took time to get in because of my percentage. last year they started teaching according to the NEP pattern so you can choose your specialization subject in the first year. They designed syllabi according to competitive exams.
I chose this course because I want to become an archeologist. After the 12th you can apply for this on the college's website I prefer you to contact the college staff. Teaching is average but few teachers are awesome they explain everything understand our problems and guide us very well, there was no exam required to get in and every semester has one main exam and an internal exam. In my first dream year, I almost paid 12000rs but it was too much for the first year.
No, I am in syba but still, I don't have any idea about internships or placements, students have to find them on their own. One of the staff is from this college after their masters they got job probably.
I haven't heard about internship and placement yet but I don't think there are any because most of the students go for mpsc and upsc and they are here for this course for that. So no one takes it seriously.
There are no clubs in this college kala Mandal is there but getting in it is not easy and foodie and many are but they are probably hard to get and you have to leave the lecture for that, last year there was one fest but I didn't call it fest because it wasn't as good as it was supposed to be historical was planned by the department of history but we didn't get permission. There are so many books in the library but you have to find them on your nobody helps. And the history department has its library, there are sports activities but I don't have information about it.
I haven't opted for a hostel, but I heard it's high cost, and people don't use a hostel mess if they have a good room and girls and boys have different hostels and they are on a college campus, I don't have much info about it.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
