For admission, there is a exam which is conducted in the Maharashtra CET cell which is MHT-CET for both PCM & PCB groups. After the results, there is a centralised admission process (CAP) in which you register yourself and complete the application form, and choice filling form after CAP rounds lists are published and if your name is in the college list or allotted list then you are eligible to take admission in respected college.
The faculties of the college are very cooperative and they are always helpful to students' queries. There are 2-3 faculties members which also guide you for further studies after completing B. Pharm. They prepare you for the GPAT and many more entrance exams which are useful for further studies.
Yes, after completing 3rd year there is a summer internship is compulsory, and the college also gets some companies to get permission to do an internship in their company like S.G.PHYTOPHARMA and others. Sometimes if you are not interested in college given a company internship then you choose yourself. The college will give you a letter to contact that company.
This year there is a no campus placement done in college but last year 2-3 companies visited for campus placement and almost 50-60% of students were selected. Not more is known about the average package.
In Jan - Feb month there are many festivals& days are arranged by college like saree day, traditional day & sports. Also, the College celebrated its fests i.e. pharma space for students which students enjoy a lot. And coming to the library, there are many books available in the library which include reference books for examination, different pharmacopoeias and novels are also available and the overall arrangements of the Library and faculty members of the Library are amazing.
I don't go for the hostel option but nearby college area, there are PG rooms available for both boys and girls. Nearby PG rooms there are few messes which provide you good quality food and it is at reasonable rates.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
