- Some of the faculty members are highly qualified and has deep knowledge in their field and are motivational.
- Each student gets a mentor who will guide you in academics, future career and every aspect related to college or even personal life.
Dislikes
- The location of college is very remote and their are very less opportunities for us to go outside the campus.
- The mess food is horrible. Doesn't taste good at all and we have to rely on other alternatives.
Remarks :
I wanted to pursue a Bsc Horticulture degree and this college was the best in Jharkhand state. I appeared for the JCECE exam which is a combined examination to take admission in B.Sc Agriculture and allied courses. It is a state-owned government college and follows all the guidelines of ICAR.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course follows the curriculum according to ICAR. In our college, we at the time has limited faculty members but soon new professors are about to join. All the faculty members are qualified and overall teaching is good.
Internships Opportunities :
I opted for the internship in ISAP i.e. Indian Society for Agribusiness Professionals which works on bringing new agricultural technologies to the farmers. There are other industries for internships like Pradan, GT Bharat, etc.
Placement Experience :
In our 7th semester, we have to do internships in industries which is a good experience. We can choose the industry by ourselves or else our course coordinator does it for us. The internship is for 2 months. The placement scenario is not that good. I can say 30-40% of students are only placed and the salary is not that good which is 3-4.5 LPA.
Campus Life :
Here comes the bad part. Our college is situated in Khunptani block in a remote place. The nearest market is 15km i.e. Kharsawan and the nearest city is 30km i.e. Chaibasa. The college is surrounded by villages and it is difficult to get the basic things. Although there is a cafeteria in the college it does not fulfil all the requirements and it is rather difficult to go to the markets as there are no transportation facilities. We have to book an auto to go to the very expensive market.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a big hostel for girls with all the facilites like inverter and a generator. Although power cut happens due to the remoteness of the place. For boys there are two hostels with the same facilities. There are separate Mess for boys and girls and the food is terrible.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
