The university has a large campus with all type of facilities with really friendly faculties which I have heard from my friends and the fees is much lower as compared to other private colleges. Admission in bachelor courses and some masters courses is done via aggregate marks of previous qualifications. courses like MBA, B. Ed, M. Ed do require to qualify entrance exams.
The course (bsc. Biotechnology) is related to my personal interest because I'm into newly developing fields of science which have large scope of research & development. The academics are really good and does not put much burden on you because they conduct semester wise examination. So the syllabus won't get hectic to prepare during the examination. The curriculum is really up to date except for the chemistry which I feel outdated and some modern equipment are absent in labs which is a bit of concern. Old faculties are experienced and even you don't need to study at home if you're attending classes regularly. The concern part is the new/fresher faculty which are unable to clear the doubt & you have to depend on seniors for guidance. College provide scholarship under state government scholarship scheme which covers half of the expenses of total tuition fees. Total fees for 3 year bachelor degree in biotechnology will cost you around 35k to 42k
No, I didn't opt for any internship from the campus. Although the University provided a fellowship called Gandhi fellowship from Piramal. However, I refused the offer as it stated that I could not pursue other courses during the fellowship.
Universities provide a wide variety of placements depending on the course. From my perspective, they have placement for every department. Even they gave 1.5 lakh/annum placements to a bachelor's degree students

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.
There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.
Rare opportunities to get internship, and placement because of lack of skill in developing courses rather than academic books.some get internship because they worked hard. Placement is all about how much of your soft and technical skills are well developed
