- The infrastructure of the colleges nice and also teachers are well qualified.
- The events and functions of the college are also really good.
Dislikes
- There are no social clubs, canteen and student council in the college
- They literally ask for money for every little thing that is organised in college even for the clinical postings.
Remarks :
I always wanted to pursue physiotherapy and it was the only college that was available in my city for physiotherapy. The course fees were lower than other colleges of physiotherapy. The infrastructure of the college was also nice so I chose this college. The admission was through NEET UG. There was no cut-off required for admission, you just have to appear in the exam. After the NEET result, you can visit the college or enquire through a call and then you can book a seat for yourself. For seat booking, they charge 10000 rupees which will be deducted from your first-year fees. They will fill up the counselling form for you and after the counselling results admission process will be started.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course has a nice scope for the future. The syllabus of this university is comparatively less than other universities that offer physiotherapy. Physiotherapy heels the patients without any medicine which is a plus factor in the medical field. So there are no side effects of medicines or drugs. Physiotherapy makes you more active and enhances your quality of life. The faculty in this college are well qualified. Members of the faculty are specialists in different fields such as Ortho, neuro, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory etc. Internal faculties are average but external faculties are really good. Internal faculties qualify MPT in different fields and external faculties are MBBS and MPT doctors. Their teaching method is through PPT presentations. There is 1 internal exam every 4 months (a total of 2 internal exams per year), other than that there are test series after the completion of the syllabus and then before the final exam, there is one pre university exam conducted in the college.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is offered through the college. During the internship, you are posted in college OPD, district hospital OPD in different wards and also in Jawaharlal Nehru hospital and research centre Bhilai. During the internship, you are posted in the physiotherapy department, paediatrics department, cardiopulmonary department, ICU, neurology department, orthopaedic department and obstetrics and gynaecology department.
Placement Experience :
There are no campus placements in college. You have to find a job for yourself after completion of the course. You can open a clinic of your own or join a hospital as a physiotherapist after completion of the course. You can also join any college for teaching. If you are interested in higher studies you can pursue MPT according to your interest in different specialities. Awareness of physiotherapy in this state is not much so the pay scale is comparatively lesser here.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the colleges is nice. Although there is no playground or sports court. The canteen is also not there in the college. Only hostel mess is available for hostel students. Stationery is also there inside the campus. There are no social clubs or student councils. Libraries are well stocked with good books. All the classrooms have a projector and whiteboard as well as green boards. Sports Day is celebrated once a year for 4 to 5 days. Annual day is celebrated once Iyer in January for 2 days. Other than that Physiotherapy Day, pharmacy day, and nursing day are also celebrated on the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
The locality of the college does not come under the city. It is somewhat on the outskirts of the city. Hostel facility is available for both girls and boys inside the campus. Hostel mess food is just average. Girls' hostel rooms are good. There are three-tier rooms and four-tier rooms in the building with AC and non-AC. Hostel and mess fees are affordable. You can also get rental PGs and rooms near the college at affordable prices.

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
