I joined Pessat and a friend of mine used to study here he did say that they are a lot stricter compared to other colleges but Indian dads being Indian dads he admitted me here and the college is cool.
The exams are difficult. You might have to pull an all-nighter for some exams but they will provide all the resources you need you just have to utilise them properly they will provide pre-recorded videos on the specific topics ppts notes etc.
I haven't opted for any internship yet as I'm in the middle of my capstone project but you can still sit for internships. For unpaid 2 credits will be awarded for paid 6 credits will be awarded but you might have been informed beforehand.
There are a lot of opportunities for placement but at the end of the day, it all depends on your skills. You have to have a min cgpa of 7 to sit for placements and a minimum of 8 for tier 1 jobs. There's even a preplacement training.
It's affordable if you are joining through Kcet ig but I think they have changed it from 50% Passat 50% kcet to 90% jee 10% kcet. You have everything here starting from snookers to fun hackathons and if your project is good they might even fund you btw if you score well you can get half of your fees back.
Forget your social life if you join here. The only thing you will be doing here is studying except for the maaya week and atmatrisha week you might enjoy a social life for a short duration but it's worth it in the long run.
The hostel fee is 109000 in your 1st year you might have to stay in Amaatra hostel neat amrita college from 2nd year onwards you can join the hostel inside the college it will be a 3 sharing room with attached bathroom. No idea about the girl's hostel.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

If you want to get placement you have to maintain more than 7 cgpa for attending the interview and highest average package was 2 laks per month.89% of the students placement in the campus interview only
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
