Remarks :

Factors such as the courses the college offers and fees played a major deciding factor also the college is very easy to reach for everyone it is well connected to the city. While taking the admission I had to face an interview round with the college staff basic questions were asked in the interview round about background, ambitions, goals, etc. There is not much of a need to prepare for anything just be yourself and be confident that’s enough the staff is super friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The reason behind my choosing this course was I always had an interest in commerce and management and BBA is all about business and its fundamentals, function and taking international business as a specification helped me get a wider array of understanding on how things work on a global scale. All the faculty members are well qualified everyone has done a master's in some field and is assigned the relevant subjects. Teaching methods are quite basic, to be honest There is not much innovation just basic old-school teaching methods. Term exams were all about the fundamentals and revolved around the basic principles taught so exams were quite easy if you have the basic idea.

Placement Experience :

Placements provided by the college lacked diversity in fields. placement criteria were based on interview skills and cgpa. some of the companies that visited the college were Wipro, ebix, Concentrix, etc. Around 30-40% of students were getting placed with good roles in companies. I didn’t attend any interviews so I plan to rely totally on networking and online portals for internships and then jobs. Employability is quite low after doing this course since it does not from a technical or coding background many students face a lot of issues after doing this course since managerial level positions are targets of many students but the lack of ground knowledge and experience, and skills plays a role in the placement and exceptions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year-wise fee I paid was? 30000 every year it's the same from the first year to the third year. The only other fees the college ever took from us were for compulsory exam forms and some other minor things like the library fee which was around. 200 and some other minor fees like the identity card fee which is also the same around? 200, there were no other fees for admission or registration just pay a minimum of? 5000 while enrolling which was a part of the year-wise fees. Everyone around me had the same fee structure for my branch except SC ST students who had a waiver according to the government scholarships, and every other category had the same fees. I cannot recall the names of the scholarships but it was a general one that most students from the SC ST category apply for.

Campus Life :

Campus life is pretty awesome in my experience. Infrastructure frankly was basic but fun. Mainly there was a fest named GOONJ which used to be in February but since ASM is a group of colleges students could attend fests from other campuses too like the ASM IBMR campus and many small fests were actively celebrated all around the year. There are different clubs to be a part of for students which were run by themselves like the photography club dance music and theatres club etc. But quite frankly most of the attention was towards the sports clubs like the cricket one there are many professional turfs and groups around the college so the sports was given major attention. BBA is a light-hearted course so most of the students always were involved in extracurricular activities on campus.

Hostel Facilities :

I have not opted for the Hostel provided by my college but some of my friends used this facility so I know most of the stuff that went around. The college hostel for boys has arranged a longer distance of about 5km since my college was in the city's central region the hostel was in a gated community around a society where they have brought some rowhouses since it a society where the boys hostel was it was also well connected and had everything from 24/7 water and other services too it even had a separate guard other than the society one. Food was also cheap and affordable but had some quality issues according to what I heard from my friends. registration process for the hostel was on a first come first serve basis but sometimes they also provided hostels in the IBMR campus if they were empty. I used to live in a PG near college since the college is like in a city center locality was nice and had everything needed it was called Nade Corner and the area was called Kalewadi.

An industry focused learning experience

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
