Remarks :
Procedure for taking admission in nie. There are 3 ways I.e. through kcet, comedk, management. Kcet is and exam for Karnataka students only and some other categories for particular states based on 12th boards and a competitive Kcet exam. Comedk is an all India exam for taking admission to colleges in Karnataka. Management quota is completely money-based according to the branch Special quota for JNK students and north-east students. There is no GD or interview round but the counselling held by kcet and comedk only cutoff changes year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is perfect there are not so many irrelevant subjects to study time of every semester is perfect I.e. 4-5 months. Academically college focuses on presentations and to motivate students to improve communication skills practical learning is also there. The college focuses on practicals more than theory for important subjects. The faculty is also good and not biased at all. Everyone is a PhD holder or pursuing a PhD. Student-teacher relations are also good we can be frank with teachers and can call them or text them after college hours as well. Teachers are not strict and try to help us.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done my first year only so not able to give information about the internships that I have opted for.but in general I saw my senior getting internships in 4th semester only and also getting the PPO from the companies
Placement Experience :
Placements are the best part of our college. More than 300 companies Visit for recruitment. As every other college placement for tech branches is comparatively better than core branches but core companies are also in abundance. Around 90% of eligible students get placed. Companies give different ranges of packages ranging from 5-58 lpa. The highest package offered is 58lpa minimum is 5lpa and there is 12 lpa for tech branches and overall it is 10lpa. Internships are also provided by the college only from the 4th sem to the 6th sem. PPO conversion is also good. Some recruiters are- Cisco Jp morgan Lowe's India Visa Palo alto Fidelity investment Etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am from comedk so I pay 271116 rupees tuition fees + 100000 hostel fees +10000(only in 1st year) caution deposit refundable + 24000 transportation fees every year. For KCET students(Karnataka only) tuition fees are 96000 and change every year + hostel fee and transportation fees are the same. Fees depend on the branch you take through Kcet. For management quota, students need to pay fees the same as comedk students + management fees I.e. 12lakhs for cse(aiml) 14lakhs for Ise and 16lakhs for cse.
Campus Life :
The campus is very green and the climate of Mysore is very nice same weather for 12 months thus campus is quite enjoyable. There is 1 main fest a year called Technieks this includes cultural activities, ethnic day, prize distribution, DJ nights, fireworks shows, auto expos, bike stunt events, dance battles etc. 3 autoexpos per year, branch Fests are also conducted. There are 2 main libraries with books and ebooks number in lakhs. There are 8 computer labs with PCs equipped with i5 and i7 processors. There are mechanical labs, physics labs, and chemistry labs equipped with all the necessary items mechanical lab with all the machines, lathes etc. I am into sports, I play table tennis sports activities are very regular every 2-3 months intercollege activities are also there. Several clubs are there like GDSC, IEEE, onyx, owasp, robotics club, etc these clubs include tech, mechanics, racing, cultural etc and clubs are quite active.
Hostel Facilities :
I am living in the college hostel only boys hostel is standard 3 sharing room and girls hostel hot an option of single double or triple sharing rooms. Mess is vegetarian and the food is decent we get paneer twice a week and mushroom once a week food is mostly south Indian for obvious reasons but it is balanced we get buttermilk fruits etc daily. There are 4 meals per day I.e. breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The hostel includes room rent, mess, transportation and laundry. The only negative point is a mess because it is vegetarian and I am a non-vegetarian but it is not an issue.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
