I have completed my diploma from AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune. I scored 86% on my diploma so according to the cap round I got allotted for this college as DSE in the 2022 batch this college was last in terms of my list for computer engineering but got allotted. Good Aspect - College Campus is the Best among all colleges in Pune as green and has fresh air. Teachers are somehow encouraging and teaching is also good. Management is also good. Bad Aspect - Placements are low as compared to other colleges. The attendance System is strictly compulsory 75% or if you can't maintain that, then they may take bonds. So Overall College is good but the Crowd is usually from rural areas and it is not in the city centre far away from Main Pune City, But one can expect that as percentage of getting into this college is the bare minimum compared to other colleges specifically for Computer Branch. I would give 8 ratings for overall college.
I have chosen a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering. As I completed a diploma in Computer Engineering and for higher studies purposes I have chosen this branch. The computer Engineering Branch is an Evergreen Branch and Technology field. One can expect a good amount of salary, position and growth rate to be high. If he/she has a good amount of skills in programming languages and New Fields of Artificial Intelligence, then there is a descent package for students to start their career. Qualification of Faculty - As our HOD have PhD degrees and the rest of the facilities and staff members are highly educated as compared to others they have 10-15 years of teaching experience and the quality of teaching is fabulous and all teachers are supportive. Term exam and difficulty level - Term exams are taken within time and mock tests are also taken to give University exams properly and have good marks. The difficulty level is medium one can able to understand questions and write answers appropriately.
Yes, the college provided an internship for a Company called EYGDS. As there was no stipend, the company's professional tutor took 20 20-day programmes for skill enhancement and on that basis internship was done. Overall Good Experience of Students from Internship. As I have not opted for an internship from College. The role was Full-stack Developer.
So My Course is Computer Engineering and It has placement and job opportunities. For placements, one needs to maintain a CGPA of 6.5-7 above for eligibility for most companies. And no active backlog during the Placement seasons. Companies which come are - Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, ZenSar,etc And many startups for various roles. The highest package is nearly 19-20 LPA. The average package is 3.5-5 LPA. 50-60% of students of my College get placed from big MNC companies to small startups so having the right skills and consistency makes the highest chances of placement and nearly 50-60 companies visited for the 2024 batch. So Overall placement is good to initiate your career.

I have not opted for Hostel. But my friend does according to their experience the Hostel is good and cleaned. The hostel mess is somehow not that good average food. Registration Hostel happens during the admission process there is a separate faculty for the hostel but Approximately ? 60000/- for one year of Hostel fees. It includes one room which has 2-3 students accordingly and Wifi and laundry service. As I am a resident of Pune. But my friend staying in PG rooms whose locality is the Yewalewadi area usually rates are low as compared to the city area but road conditions are bad here.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
