- Infrastructure is huge and old fashioned, but classrooms are smart and AC.
- You get to make a large number of friends. Friends from various branches of courses help you in many situations.
Dislikes
- College general bathrooms are not reconstructed.
- Faculties behave like enemies during examination time by putting extra load of classes .
Remarks :
The Good aspects are it's easy to get registered in this college and take admission also. The Bad aspect is, that this college is not a bit punctual. Semesters, mid-sems and practicals are not done in the preferred time. The cutoff for BSC Physics Honors was around 83 per cent.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was my dream. Physics is an interesting subject. The faculties have graduated in MSC from various IIT sectors like Delhi, Dhanbad, Madras and Hyderabad. The teaching method is poor and the examination pattern was quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are offered by the university. FM University offers an internship during the summer vacations. You can conduct various projects and tasks during the internship. You must opt for the internship.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement does not apply to this college. However, if you are pursuing BSC in some honours you can register for the IIT JAM exam for higher study in many IIT sectors. You can also appear at the CPET entrance for qualifying in the university PG programme.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise fee is around 2300 rupees. For the Physics department, the seminar fee was 750 rupees. The yearly fees included all lab fees, tuition fees and examination fees. The scholarship availability is the advantage of studying at this college. Here you can get around 20000 to 25000 rupees scholarship per year as per your category. However, The Post matric scholarship will pay you less than the state scholarship which has 12000 rupees per year. There is also NSP (a type of scholarship) which pays 15000 per year. There is also a Laptop distribution scheme which pays 30000 rupees for you buying a laptop. Other categories like SC and ST get more advantages of these scholarships, they get paid 5000 rupees more.
Campus Life :
All the Hindu fests like Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja, welcome to freshers and farewell to seniors are celebrated on their respective periods. There is a huge central library which provides various books and reading facilities. Some classes are occupied with smartboards, AC, well lightened. There is also a Boys and girls club separately.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality in the hostel is often not much better. Sometimes we eat from outside. The menu is good but the quantity and quality we get are poor. Hostel affordability and registration is easy. But if you want to rent a room or PG in the locality there a vast options from which you choose.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
