This college is comparatively better than other colleges to pursue b pharm and MPharm courses due to the presence of well-educated and qualified faculties that helps us at every step. But it is the first b pharm university in India so its infrastructure is a little dull and poor. The admission process is easy and you get your admission based on your 12th marks i.e. PCB / PCM combination percentage. In cutoff, reserved categories get relaxation.
Mostly students and my classmates are droppers of the NEET exam but if you genuinely pursue a B pharm course and admire it then you will get more scope than a doctorate. Exams conducted over a span of 2 months and known as sessional exams and semester exams held at the end of the semester that are moderate in difficulty
I paid 56k on time of admission as semester 1 fees and the remaining 34k in the second semester. There is relaxation for reserved categories like SC/ST and EWS. SC and ST students have to pay half of the fees which is 45k in a year.
There is no such fest and festivals organised by the university. even you have to organise your fresher on your own. The university mainly focuses on academic inputs and learning and practicals only. Hundreds of journals are being published by researchers and m pharm students. Some various clubs and societies are helpful to grow your inner knowledge and ability like dance, singing, acting, poetry and writing, photography, drawing and craft etc.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
