I scored around 93 per cent in MHT-CET. I had an interest in the AI field. So I searched for top colleges in Maharashtra where I could get my marks without donation. That is when I got to know about this college.
As I said above, I had an interest in this course that's why I chose this course. Most of the faculty that taught me had a minimum master's degree, and some of them also had phds. This college follows a strict schedule which is given at the start of sem and every day and lectures are planned out. The term exams were conducted according to the term plan.
I pursued an internship course offered by IIT BHU in my first year. I also have an approved internship by Google in an AI/ML course in 2nd year. Next year I'll be applying for official internships offered by companies that come to college.
As a student in my second year, I currently have no in-depth knowledge of internships and placements but from seniors, I heard the placement in the college is good (could be better). however, the internships are quite good.
The total fees of the college are around 1,50,000. But the college also gives scholarships to EWS, SC, and ST casts provided by the government. We have a hassle-free process and we are notified around 2 months before the last date of submission of the scholarship form with the required documents.
This college may seem underrated, but trust me it is not. This college has one of the best libraries in the city and the college also promotes sports. The college conducts many fests (each branch has its own) and also a sports fest. The college also boasts various technical and non-technical clubs.
You can apply for a hostel during college admissions. If not accepted, there are various rooms available near the college. The hostel also has a mess and the food is sub-par. Mess offers both veg and non veg menu but nonveg is offered only on Wednesdays and Sundays. Mess also provides special foods for students having fasted.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
