- The most important thing that was very attractive in the college was the atmosphere and ambiance of the college.
- Secondly the events and fests organised in the college were phenomenal.
- The opportunity given to each student to present themselves in front of whole college in every event.
- The faculty are very good and helpful. They are always egar to make us learn new things.
Dislikes
- The parking facility for the students is not well maintained. A proper shed should be provided by the college to eradicate any mishaps.
- Field trips and study tours should be encouraged more.
- Uniforms are a bit expensive and suitable for summers.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college were the course curriculum and also the ranking of the college all over the state. This is an anti-raging college and the rules against it are very strict. The admission process is very easy and no cut-off is required you can enroll yourself through a call too. First, you have to visit the official website of the college and then fill in your basic details like name, course you are interested in and your contact details etc. Then the admission team will contact you and help you in your admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Choosing Bcom as a career was the right decision and pursuing it from this college was the best as I got the exposure that I needed. This college is full of knowledge, the curriculum was also apt for the course. The faculties were well experienced and most of them have completed their PhD. The teaching methods were very good and exciting as the education was not limited to classrooms, field trips, seminars, educational tours etc. were conducted frequently. There was 1 term exam for each semester and in that 3 class tests were conducted. The tests and term exams were not that difficult if, you attended classes. The faculties were always there to help us guide us and mentor us.
Internships Opportunities :
In every course, there is 1 semester dedicated to an internship in which student have to do an internship in their choice of the company the university helps to get the internship but one can also find a company on by own. The duration of the internship is mostly 45-90 days. And stipend is also provided to the students.
Placement Experience :
Depending on what degree you opted for, placement from the campus may vary. Hotel management students get a placement at a reputed company chain as well the students who opted for a BBA air MBA can get a placement with a decent salary. There are no such criteria for getting a placement but one must not have any backlogs in their academic. Hiring is also done based on the extra curricular skill of the student. Almost 20% of the students get placement after graduation and about 60-70% get placement after post graduation. The highest recent package is 22lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I enrolled myself the fee was 21000 per semester which adds upto 42000 for a year's fees. I also got an early bird discount on my fees in the first semester. There is also a group discount if you bring a friend for admission also if the student has a merit score they get a scholarship of upto 10000. During the completion of the whole course, there are a few additional expenses like exam fees of 1000rs for graduation degree which is same for every category student. There are no such extra fees for laboratory, development etc. in the BCom degree.
Campus Life :
The college campus is very neat and green all the way around. The events conducted are almost every month. Every festival is celebrated here with full enthusiasm and joy. Students get the opportunity to organise small events in the college like a day festival or a small celebration. Big events like fests are conducted by the college and the students are allowed to work as a managing team in that. Every year during winter, an annual sports week is organised in which different departments of the college compete. Every year a New batch of students is welcomed with a power pack event keeping the freshers in focus. There are also various social media accounts that students of each class and each school maintain, in which they upload their activities and fun memories. The library is filled with all kinds of books that a student needs as per their curriculum you can borrow them for a week or more but every week you have to get them re-registered from the Library.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for a hostel. But the college offers hostel and mess facility to the students at a nominal rate. The food is good and on time. The registration process for the hostel is done at the time of admission but students can also opt for a hostel later during their studies. The hostel is about 5km away from the college and a transport facility is provided to the students. The hostel is in the city and the students can also go for PG or rent a flat if they wish to live by themselves. The cost of PG or rent is almost similar to the hostel charges.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
