I always wanted to take psychology, and SSLA has the best application-based psychology with research labs and psychology labs. There’s nothing that you’re going to miss compared to someone who’s into a BA psychology course. Here along with a major degree in psychology I could choose Media marketing as a side subject.
SSLA offers 10+ subjects for majoring, so I can’t speak for others but the faculty of my subjects are very skilled and known. All of them have major milestones achieved in their careers. Like, once I googled my faculty and turned out she’s famous around the world.
College keeps promoting students to work from the 3rd year. So the career cell comes up with internship opportunities now and then. I worked in a psychologist’s clinic which was very much fun and relevant to my course.
So… This is a learner’s college. You only come here if you’re planning to work after a master's degree. While you can get into working with business, psychology, or any actual degrees from SSLA, campus placement doesn’t make sense for the setting of this college. The information you take with you is still raw but rest assured, you’ll be way better than others in thinking and writing after this college experience from a multidisciplinary perspective.
Two lakh sixteen thousand per semester without hostel included. For newer batches, it increases by 5% every year. Paid every 6 months before the first day of the class starts. Also, keep in mind, that the fine for late fees is 500 per day then 1000 per day from the next month and the third month 5000 per day.
We just moved into a much much bigger campus in NVC campus of symbiosis. It’s nice. We have a professional music room, studio, physics lab, and genetics lab. Sports are very strong in our college. And the food in Symbieats is better than just edible too.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
