Dhondumama Sathe is the first homeopathic medical College established in Pune. It has a good teaching staff and focus is mainly on the studies. It is among the best colleges of Maharashtra. The admission is through NEET UG exams. The cut off changes every year according to the difficulty of the NEET exam. Students with score above 350 may get admission here.
I was not much sure about homoeopathy before but after joining this college I developed a new and good perspective about homeopathy. The teaching staff is incredible. They teach you by putting great efforts and make you understand each and everything. From solving doubts to finding creative ways to understand a particular topic, you'll get it all. The professors are all post graduates in different fields of MD specialization. There are smart boards in all the classrooms and smart teaching is provided with all the necessary diagrams, videos, demonstrations. Terminal exams are taken with great discipline and later doubts are cleared for those who can't score well in some subjects. It is compulsory to attend all the exams and lectures with more than 75% attendance. Defaulters list is declared every month for those who have attendance below 75% and they are given assignments and project models to complete.
The internship is of one year with IPD and OPD postings. Students are posted in different departments including ICU and Emergency department. The internship is unpaid. Attendance is mandatory for the internship period and there are limited number of leaves that can be applied.
Job opportunities open only after completion of the course that is after 5.5 years including internship of one year which is to be done in the hospital attached to the college itself. Students can also go for observerships in other hospitals on their own. The one year internship for BHMS students is unpaid.

Annual fest is organized every year by the final year students in the month of May/June with different names each year. It includes all the sports and cultural events. Sports for boys include cricket and volleyball and for girls cricket and throwball. Indoor games like chess, carrom and table tennis are there for both. Culturals include dance, singing, fashion show, and many more competition. Apart from the annual fests students are encouraged to participate in competitions organized by MUHS like 'SPANDAN'. Students also participate in research competitions with the help of professors. Participation in research activities is promoted here. On all Saturdays, seminars are being conducted for the students on various topics to enhance their knowledge and exposure. Clinical postings are followed well and their is good patient exposures. All the important notices, achievements, events are posted on college's Instagram handle.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
