The college is good but mostly for the Arts dept and BMM, BMS courses for BSc is average as faculty problems are there. Overall good college fests and events are also good but the campus is a bit small. The admission process is very easy one just needs to apply to Mumbai University first then fill out their offline form in the college with documents then the merit list will be generated within 3-4 days. for south Indians, there is a minority. Cut-off isn't that high till 55% you can get in if you're in minority in general till 60% you can get the admission.
I chose this course because I have interest in Computer Science and SIES college is a bit near to my house. Faculties are nice teaching staff and non-teaching staff both are kind but the problem is faculty are not much. Term exams would be in 2-3 months and the difficulty level is between average- and high.
I haven't opted for any internships till now due to some reasons but many students from my classes are doing internships and jobs and also work under teachers who teach them how to work in real life .
For placement you need to gave a good CGPA and above 70% for a good placement without any KT. As I have not graduated yet I don't have much idea about the placements but the college offers good internships and career oriented session.

Life at the campus is a good fest named Visions the main fest is conducted in January. The library is quite nice from where you can take books and digital question papers. For sports, there is an Association created by students and teachers. NSS, Rotract, CA are the organizations runed by students.
The canteen food is very nice with good quality and affordable price. There is no hostel I guess for the college. The locality is good there are many food stalls, cafe and other places to eat and a good garden to spend time with your friends.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
