- Infrastructure as well as campus life both are the best in dehradun. They completely provide a environment which is perfect for studying.
- Also the faculty members are so cooperative that they always ensure that we get on the right path and we don't have any doubts.
Dislikes
- The old hostel needs to be renewed because of some windows and doors are not so well but overall it's good
- The second thing to improve is to shorten the addmission process so that it becomes a bit easier for students.
Remarks :
The best part of the college is its location where it's situated and its placement record. You should have scored a minimum of 45% in your diploma with the same branch to get admission to DBUU. Just one thing is bad about the college and that's its lengthy process of admission which is so much time taking.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because computer science is my field of interest. The faculties of my course are all PhD holders and most cooperative in my knowledge they always ensure that all the doubts of students got cleared and students are getting proper notes. Every 2-3 months sem examinations are conducted and every 5 months end sem examinations are held along with practicals.
Placement Experience :
You should keep your academic performance very well to get eligible for the placement. Many recruiters such as Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Cognizant, HCL, etc. come to hire students. The highest package this year provided was 6000000 per annum at Oracle. This year due to the recession the placement percentage fell to 83% otherwise the college holds the placement record of 89% per year. The average package is 4.5 lac per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is so affordable and there are some scholarships provided by the college. INR 15000 is given as an early bird scholarship for 1st year and if you are from an economically weaker section then an additional scholarship of INR 15000 is provided to you.
Campus Life :
THE ANNUAL FEST IS HELD WHICH IS CALLED AS PINAK. THIS YEAR AT THE ANNUAL FEST THEY INVITED SHREYA GHOSHAL TO PERFORM AND MANY MORE CELEBRITIES REGULARLY VISIT OUR CAMPUS. THE LIBRARY IS FULL OF USEFUL BOOKS AND MANY JOURNALS AND NOVELS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS. ALL THE CLASSROOMS ARE WELL FURNISHED WITH SMART BOARDS IN EACH CLASS. THE CAMPUS FEELS LIKE THE DREAM CAMPUS ALL THE VIEWS FROM THE CAMPUS AND THE ENVIRONMENT IS GOOD AND LOVING.
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of food provided is none less than any hotel's food. It's awesome in taste hygienic and healthy. Every day the menu changes and you get food 3 times and 1-time snacks in the evening. You have to pay INR 5000 for hostel registration and the other charges are according to your choice of room. The hostel and mess are completely worthy it. Both are inside the campus. One more facility provided by them is laundry service. All the hostels have a high-interest WiFi facility available in it.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
