- Quite a bit of politics in societies and clubs
- Currently, the placements are down, but hopes are they'll be up soon
Remarks :
Yes, a written test was taken. I chose this college because of the location. Because I would save a year and have a pg degree. It offered me the specialization of my choice. Industry exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Very relevant course structure. Updates courses are taught to us that are relevant to us, considering the current socio-economic climate. We are taught sustainability and other things to persevere in the current climate-conscious market.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes. I had opted for a Srijan social internship in my first year, it was provided by the college itself. It was an internship in a regional NGO which was mandatory for all. It was a very smooth internship, mostly conducted by the Ngo.
Placement Experience :
They provide campus placements, have a dedicated team, career services that help. Lately, the placements haven't been the best due to the recession and stuff but major companies come here. One of the companies in my sector is Kuhene-Nagel or expressive or Mahindra Logistics
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Integrated MBA- first 1 year, approx 3. 25Lac/year- 2nd years 3.75 lac/year 3rd year- 3.85-95 lac/year 4th year 10 lac/year. All the scholarships currently are closed, only Uttarakhand domicile is accepted, and maybe the girl child scholarship.
Campus Life :
The campus life is great. The locality is incredible with most of the students living there only, making it a community. Extracurriculars are great. I play football for eg. and have represented the uni. Other clubs and societies are also there with various events.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
