Yes there was a written test happened for BVDU. I passed through the entrance examination and then on the basis of merit, I got my admission. But then I got to know after reaching out there that you can get the admission from management quota as well by paying some extra money.
I chose this course to learn about technical stuff which includes Programming, Networking, cloud computing and database. But unfortunately faculties weren't much aware how to teach these subjects and they were more into completing the syllabus.
Placements were average. for MCA and BCA there were limited companies visited and most of it were start-ups. If you want to get the better opportunity you should opt for MBA from BVDU for lot of better companies.
Per year fees for MCA in BVDU is 2 lakh/ annum There is no scholarship program for outstate students but yes there were some programs for Maharashtra Students. For complete course there was a fees around 6.05 lakh excluding exam fees. Now the fees is more than 6.50 Lakh including 3 year hostel fees.
Campus life was pretty good when you make your friends over there. There is no such social life from college side.It all has to be created by your own. There is no club, the only thing we got a basketball court and a ground for cricket but its moreover parking for staff and students.
I haven't opted for hostel as the fees was too high for living. It was much easier to live in the PG's outside of the college and its quite nearby around 100 mts . The food wasn't also good as per some of my hostel friends.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
