- College has the best environment for studies, infrastructure wise it is great,campus life is great and engaging.
- College has the well experienced faculty,for sports it has the best grounds.
Dislikes
- You need someone who is well versed with the department so that you get work done fast.
- In hostel there may be cases of ragging.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college are like the weather condition of Nainital where the college is situated, and NAAC ranking, etc. When i use to go to college for my classes in 1 semester many times the professor does not communicate the information that they will not come or they busy in other work.There are written test for some courses and some candidates are shortlisted from the merit list.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Basically I choose this course because IT sector is in boom and it can land you in high paying job. The Professor's of the college are qualified and they have a different approach of making student understand the concept in a easy and much clear way.The term exam were sometimes early as we were lacking behind sometimes were on time.The level of the exam is difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
They offer internship of the companies that are local or if they prefer then they shortlist topper and assist them with internship. If you are looking for internship i would prefer you to apply to internship portals.
Placement Experience :
It is an government college so don't have placement facility . Students should have good relation with professor's and seniors, they assist you in getting you the perfect picture of internship, or jobs. My plans after graduation is to go for masters in different college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are various option for students to pay fees like semester wise or yearly basis. It depends on the student through with mode he/she want to pay. Fees for other courses may vary like for professional course its base fee start from 25000, but for general course it may be 2000. I paid yearly 75000 for my course.
Campus Life :
Goonj Fest- It is a fest basically which is organised by the college in which many singers, comedian, dance program, etc. they also organise many sports activities like Footbal, Cricket, Baseketball etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel, in my opinion they have the best spacious rooms available, 24/7 electricity ,but in terms of the food i would prefer you to take the tiffin service outside college that has the best food. Registration process for hostel is quiet waiting or take time as rooms are alloted when the seniors of final year get there rooms empty.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
