The main factor that made me choose this college is their placement cell. They work enormously good as good as government college of engineering in Amravati. I would say better than them. Also this college is the oldest engineering college in the vidharbha region since 1983. So therefore the industry experience their faculty has is absent in most of the engineering colleges. And yes the admission is on the basis of the Mhtcet and jee mains score through cap round system. No GD or interviews are taken.
I choose artificial intelligence and data science engineering because it is an emerging field of computer science and also my college has highly qualified professors to teach us the core subjects of this course. As exams are concerned there are two unit tests before semester examination and in the new autonomous system there is one MSE and END SEM examination.
As I am in my 5th sem right now, I have now started opting for internships for junior software engineer and data analyst job profile as I know statistics and python thoroughly and i have made hand Recognition system in python and also for data analyst I have made an dashboard for the data of an Ecommerce store.
College has been marking 100% placement since last many years as I mentioned before the placement cell has been working very hard to make the college placements and internship offerings more valuable for students. Also virtual internships are made compulsory for the students througj AICTE portal.
The Year wise fee details are as follows: 125000+5000(caution money) as of B.E. but as now Institute has turned autonomous now the fees is 131000 all inclusive. For category wise fee the following are the amounts: General: 131000 OBC:78000 ST/SC: 5000 TFWS: 14000 As now in Maharashtra girls have totally free education they only have to pay the caution money i.e. 5000 per year which they get back once degree is completed.
We have our annual fest named as Esperanza and Aashayein. Esperanza is an one day technical event which include s various tech based programs such as robo race, science exhibition,Debate competition and many more followed by aashayein, a two day cultural fest which is an grand event in the whole region. Amenities in the campus are pretty good and yes the library has every book available which is required in engineering and there is no shortage of books. Sports and extracurricular activities are actively made up in the campus and the college has an seperate sports event named MITRAS CHAMPION TROPY. We have social groups such as CESA,MESA AND GDSC in our college.
There is no hostel facility made available by the institute for now but maybe they are planning to be made available in near future for sure. Also mostly the students prefer PGs and rooms in the city as the college is off city.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
