I got myself admitted to Hinduja college because it was nearby from my location and close to the charni road railway station which made it easy to reach and hinduja college also as a good review and ratings by the university of mumbai.
As i want to pursue a career in finance and also considering for an post graduation in mba finance i thought baf would help me understand the basics and idea of finance. The teachers are helpful and good teachers. Exams are held in semesters and we have internal exams too.
No, i haven’t opted for any internships due to classes and some personal reasons of my own due to which i wasn’t able to opted for any internship programs. My college does have an internship program helded for the students.
In my course we get placements in some best corporates too such as deloitte with the starting annual package of around 400000. The average package would be around 3LPA with the highest being in deloitte. After my degree i would mostly go for mba in finance.
The fee structure is 19000 which includes all the internal fees like the campus fees , committee fees , lab fees ,etc. The fees structure is different from each course to course lfor instance,the annual fees dor the bms course is 40000.
College is just of 4 floors and it doesnt have any campus area as garden area or sports ground or any canteen but crowd is nice and fun. Fests happens at my college twice or thrice a year. Library provides books to study and as many books to read there. Sports day is organized at my college every year. As im in no groups so i dont have any info of any committee or groups.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
