ILBS Delhi International Training

ILBS Delhi offers international training in collaboration with the World Gastroenterology Organization (WGO). The training is given in gastroenterology and liver disorders. WGO also provides an educational network that can be accessed by gastroenterologists and hepatologists from middle and low-income groups.

APASL School of Hepatology

Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver-APASL is the largest scientific body and the leading association that is formed on investigations and treatments of liver diseases. APASL works on creating improved treatment methods for patients with liver diseases throughout the Asia Pacific region. The main objective of APASL is to promote and exchange the latest developments in hepatology and encourage the implementation of new methods of treatment into practice. 

WGO and ASALP in coordination with ILBS give hands-on training to the students who participate from different countries. This training gives experience in clinical research.

ILBS Delhi Sponsorships

ILBS Delhi offers various sponsorship packages to young researchers who choose ILBS as their destination of work. Some of the sponsorship packages offered are as follows:

• Ramanujan Fellowship from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India

This scholarship is meant for all young researchers from all over the world who want to take up scientific research positions in India. This fellowship is very selective and scientific-specific.

• RamalingaSwami Fellowship from the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India

This fellowship is for young scientists who are working abroad and are interested in pursuing scientific research positions in India.

• VAJRA (Visiting Advanced Joint Research) faculty Scheme by DST

This sponsorship is for scientists from abroad who want to contribute to scientific research in India.

• INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship Scheme

This sponsorship is exclusively for the researcher who is in the age group of 27 to 32 years.

ILBS-TATA Fellowship

This fellowship is initiated by ILBS and funded by TATA Education and Development Trust. Young researchers, basic scientists, and eminent clinicians from around the globe are invited to participate and contribute to the field of Live Regenerative and Cell Therapy. This platform will help young researchers to gain knowledge and hands-on experience.

• The Fellowship is offered in two positions; Senior position & Junior position.
• Candidates must submit a bio-sketch along with the proposal at tatafellowship@ilbs.in.
• Applications for the Fellowship program are open all around the year.
• The duration of the fellowship ranges from 1 to 6 months or 3 to 12 months.
• Fellows are offered monthly remuneration along with conveyance for travel.
• Fellows are offered hostel accommodation at the campus for a nominal price.

ILBS Delhi Facilities

ILBS Delhi provides the facilities to support academic and extracurricular activities with an Impart a sense of permanence, stability, tradition, and stewardship. The Institute has spacious classrooms, labs, a multipurpose hall, and a central library. Here are some of the facilities provided by ILBS:

• Auditorium: The auditorium is equipped with the latest audio-visual gadgets, centralized air conditioners, Wi-Fi services, and a stage with green rooms to facilitate academic and cultural activities.
• Library: ILBS has a central library that has a collection of over 1000 resources to support the academic, research, and learning requirements of the institute.
• Hostel: The Institute offers 2 hostel buildings on campus. Residents must stay on campus as per ILBS rules. The rooms come with basic furniture. Each floor is equipped with a television, water purifier, washing machine, and refrigerator. The maintenance and the cleaning of hostel rooms is taken care of by ILBS Maintenance services.
• Cafeteria: The cafeteria at ILBS offers healthy, and nutritious dishes to the students to cater to the taste buds of a diverse community. The cafeteria is open round the clock.
• Extracurricular Activities: ILBS offers many options to the students to nurture their skills. Every Saturday, the Movie Club showcases students’ choice of movie. Sports events and marathons are regularly conducted by the Sports Club where both the students and the faculty actively participate in various sports.
• ILBS Icon Oration: ILBS Icon Oration is an occasion where distinguished personalities from various fields meet and interact.
• Other Facilities: A spacious hall on the campus is available to host personal functions and parties. The campus also has a creche where the residents can put their children. The new hostel building also houses a Gym where the residents can exercise.
