Area Student experience
Course The student chose Pharmacy because of an interest in medicines and their effects on the human body. The student suggested adding Therapeutics as a subject and preferred teaching on a board instead of PowerPoint presentations.
Faculty Teachers were generally helpful, particularly some experienced faculty members. However, many teachers were freshers and had limited depth in teaching.
Academics The class had 70 students and access to a good library. Some books could only be read inside the library, and the student felt that the course needed greater focus on practical knowledge.
Fees and financial aid The official fee was INR 4.5 lakh per year. With a scholarship received during the COVID period, the student paid INR 60,000 per year. Other scholarships and awards, including Student of the Year, were also available.
Campus life The campus experience was joyful, with Gujarati festival celebrations and sports events. Classrooms were decent and had projectors and boards, while air conditioning was available occasionally.
Placement Students became eligible for placements in the final semester. The student visited 4 companies, and the highest offer was INR 1.8 lakh. Very few Pharmacy students chose to participate in placements.
