B.Tech Admission

Applicants need at least 60% aggregate in Class 12, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Admission follows these steps:

  • Obtain a valid score in JEE Main, CUET UG or GATA.
  • Enter the Class 12 marks and submit the application through the GDGU Admissions portal.
  • Wait for shortlisting based on the entrance score and Class 12 performance.
  • Complete document verification and pay the required fee to confirm the seat.

The university has not published a fixed JEE Main or CUET UG percentile cutoff for B.Tech. Seats are allotted through rolling admission according to merit within the available applicant group.

B.Des Admission

A student from any Class 12 stream may apply for B.Des after securing at least 50% aggregate. Faculty members from the School of Design assess the applicant's portfolio and conduct an interview to check design aptitude. NATA or NID DAT scores may be submitted instead of taking the GDGU portfolio round. This procedure applies to every B.Des specialisation, including Fashion Design and Interior Architecture.

MBA Admission

MBA applicants must have completed a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate. A valid CAT, MAT or CMAT score is followed by a group discussion and personal interview at the university. Work experience is not compulsory, although it can support an applicant during shortlisting. The course runs for two years and has four semesters.

Allied Health Sciences Admission

Admission to B.Pharma, BPT, B.Sc Nursing and other allied health undergraduate courses considers NEET UG scores. General-category applicants need at least 50% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The GDGU admissions portal assigns seats according to merit and programme choice.

Law Programmes

For BALLB and BBA LLB, applicants need a valid CLAT or GDGU entrance test score and at least 45% aggregate in Class 12 from any stream. The three-year LLB requires a bachelor's degree with 45% aggregate. Most law applicants are selected on merit without a group discussion.
