Small campus, big experience - My review

What I Liked

Faculty as I already told they provides us quality education even if there freshers they focuses on us more then experienced staff. Gives notes and always revises of the important questions before semester exams. Provides previous year question paper and as well as the question bank with answers even after semester gap they even ready to take online classes those who had doubt. Encourages in all curriculum activities to win first place.
Well The campus is really good and peaceful, especially for a government college. It’s well-maintained, with clean surroundings, furnished desks, proper bins, and classrooms equipped with boards and projectors. The computer lab also has a projector, which helps in teaching.provides rest room for ladies with good facilities.

What I didn’t like

One of the major drawbacks of our college is the lack of a playground. Whenever sports activities are conducted, we have to depend on other colleges for a proper ground, which is quite inconvenient. Similarly, there is a shortage of proper stage space for college events and fests. The existing stage is small, and the seating space is insufficient, which forces the college to split events across two days — making it difficult for both organizers and students.
Parking is another issue. While faculty members have designated parking areas, students are not provided with parking facilities due to space constraints. This creates challenges for those who commute by bike or scooter. Additionally, there are occasional water shortages on campus, affecting handwashing and restroom facilities, which becomes especially uncomfortable during hot days or crowded events.

Placement Experience:

The college does not provide us with any internships, and there are only two or three placement opportunities, which are not very beneficial for most students. While we are studying under the NEP (New Education Policy) system, it seems that students under the SEP (Standard Education Policy) are being offered more internship opportunities, which feels a bit unfair.my plan after ug to do pg in other universities.

Remarks:

Fees structures which offers quality education with affordable fees. There is no entrance exams they select candidates on the basis of allotments those who have higher marks get allotment for 1st.even if it's government they provide more facilities and berre faculty then other government campus.

All About P A First Grade College, Mangalore

What I Liked

The Area, which is hilly and the atmosphere in it
The faculties who are really supportive even in our personal lives

What I didn’t like

The Rules for girls in hostel which is we have to enter the hostel at 4.30 pm it self while classes will be over by 4.00 pm
Strict management that we can't even get out of class room even when nobody is there in class

Placement Experience:

They don't provide placements but will help us with searching and recommend us to companies for placement and every student is requested to do an internship during semester breaks for 15 days and a compulsory internship after the 5th sem.

Remarks:

I chose this college as I have some cousins and brothers and friends who have studied in this college and no there aren't any formalities to enter the college like exams marks cutoff and all. All needed is just the 12th pass.

Good environment for pursuing post graduation

What I Liked

Campus having good infrastructure and situated in a rural area so peace and calm atmosphere
Campus provide all facilities inside campus such as banking, hostel, health centre etc

What I didn’t like

I feel like campus is situated in remote area because it situated far away from city
Campus has no night life after seven o clock the campus become empty and silent

Placement Experience:

On our campus campus placements are fewer but in some courses like physical education they conduct different camps placements and job requirements etc Most students seeking jobs on their own after graduation

Remarks:

I got admission based on degree mark, our department doesn’t conduct any entrance exams they select candidates based on their UG marks they provide both merit and payment seats it is also decided on UG marks
