  • The admission programme varies on the basis of the course selected.
  • The admission to all the Medical/ Dental programmes is based on the candidate’s performance in NEET.
  • Admission to the B.Sc Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology Program is purely on merit basis with the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination being considered for merit. In case of tie, the marks obtained in PCB group will be considered for merit.
  • Admission to the Nursing / Physiotherapy & Allied Health Sciences Faculty will be based on the performance of the candidate in the All India Entrance Test (AICET) which is conducted during May-June and every year for undergraduate courses and and in January for PG courses by PIMS.

Ques. What is the eligibility criteria for admission to the PIMS B.Sc. Nursing?

Ans. The candidate must be an Indian National and must be at least 17 years (on or before 31st December of the year of admission). The candidate should pass the qualifying examination with subjects PCM + E. The marks for 10 + 2 in PCB for general category is 45% and for reserved category it is 40%. The candidate must also obtain minimum marks of 40% of the AICET examination conducted by the University.

Ques. Is there any entrance exam for Physiotherapy?

Ans. Admission to the Nursing / Physiotherapy & Allied Health Sciences Faculty will be based on the performance of the candidate in the All India Entrance Test (AICET) which is conducted during May-June and every year for undergraduate courses and and in January for PG courses by PIMS. It is 3 hours and the syllabus is predefined depending on the courses. It consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQ), each correct answer carries one mark.
