Mahatma Gandhi Medical College was established in 1989 and is a constituent unit of the MGM institute of health sciences. The institution offers various medical science-related courses at UG and PG level including MBBS, MS, MD, etc. Admission to all of the courses is done on merit basis which is obtained through the entrance exams, NEET- UG or NEET- PG.

As most medical colleges, MGM Medical College does not provide any placements to its students. Final year UG students are required to intern in their respective fields.
