TNAU Admission into UG courses are based on the merit-list whereas PG Admission are done through score in entrance exam. For PG courses, marks in the previous qualifying exams are also considered. Candidates have to fill the online application form. the Final admission is done through counselling process.

  • For B.Sc and B. Tech admissions, candidates must be a 12th grade passed student in the Science stream with the science subjects (PCM)
  • Admission into the diploma courses is based on the marks obtained in the 12th exam.
  • To get admission in the M.Tech, MSc and MBA courses, candidates need to score a good mark or top rank in national level/ state level/ university level entrance exams.
  • Admission to the M Phil and Ph. D research courses are offered through the entrance exam.

TNAU offer 4 year B.Tech program in various specialization.

For UG courses: 

Registration for any of the courses is done online. Candidates need to follow these steps to fill out the application form:

  1. Visit the official website of the University.
  2. Click on “Undergraduate” and then “UG Admission”
  3. Click on “New Registration” and the application form will be opened.
  4. Fill in all the important details correctly.
  5. It will generate a user ID and password on your registered email and mobile phone.
  6. Click on the “Proceed to Application” button.
  7. The application fee for general category students is INR 600 (INR 300 for SC/ST/SCA candidates) which is to be paid to the University through a payment gateway in the form of a Debit/Credit/Net Banking facility.
  8. You can log in again with your user ID and password to download and print the Joint Declaration Form and Appendices / Checklist.

For PG and Doctoral courses:

  1. Click on the official website.
  2. Click on Postgraduate and then “PG Admission”
  3. Click on “New Registration and the application form will be opened.
  4. Fill out the application form with all required details and download the application form.
  5. The application fee for general category students is INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST) per subject. The mode of fee payment is online.
