What I Liked

I like faculty bcz all are ARS qualified
At the age of 19-20 you will get exposure about research program and different types of projects

What I didn’t like

Only internship amount is a problem bcz 3000 per month is given which is very less

Placement Experience:

All the students who passed from IVRI are getting good jobs and a maximum number of students are getting govt jobs. Highest package after UG 80,000 per month. Around 8 to 9 lakh per year, you will get. If you do PG or PhD.

Remarks:

For veterinary science, IVRI is best. If you are interested in animal science this college is best. To get admission to this college you have to get good marks in the NEET exam for the general category cutoff is 600+ and for SC students cutoff is 470+ and for St students cutoff is likely 450+

Indian Veterinary Research Institute - A great institute for Veterinary education.

What I Liked

First I just loved the campus. It is lush green campus spread in a lot of acres of natural beauty.
Teachers here are experienced scientists which is nowhere in Indian Veterinary colleges.

What I didn’t like

Sports facilities and other co curricular activities are less here.
Some hostels are great but some are in bad condition.

Placement Experience:

Veterinarians have a large opportunity in their career if he or she knows about treating the animals. A good amount of government jobs are there, private sector jobs, food-industry jobs, farms, further studies, and own clinics are some of the opportunities.

Remarks:

The admission is completely based on the NEET exam. Cutoff remains around 600 for general students and 570-590 for OBC and EWS students. After passing the cut off you have to attend offline counseling at the University where fees and hostel allotment are done.

The life in IVRI

What I Liked

Campus life- As I say earlier the campus is like a large garden, means very well maintained.
Infrastructure - Ok inside the campus there is two BS-4 labe , (total 4 BS-4 labs in India). Centre for Animal Disease Research And Diagnosis (CADRAD) is here

What I didn’t like

Sometimes faculty - It's normal I think you don't get always very good teacher sometimes they might be in bad mood and you become the path for out , that anger.
Extra circular activity - There is well big ground and fare amount of sports equipment but less activity in sports and other circular activity.

Placement Experience:

Placement - It's a central government institute and top institute so you get a attractive resume. Basically after doing Under graduation from here either you get in government service like Veterinary officer, veterinary surgeon or practice in private sector.

Remarks:

It's the top notch Institute for Veterinary science in India. Getting ample amount of exposure for clinical practice. As mejority of students so am I, didn't get a MBBS seat so opt for this. It's far more better than I expected. If you get somehow near Cut-Off of mbbs you can get this college, basically 10-15 mark less than government Mbbs cut-off. Hoping I will learn much more meaningful to add on for my life.
