At the UG level, UOU Haldwani offers arts, science, commerce, computer, business, library science, tourism and teaching courses. For most UG courses, students need 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognised board. B.Ed admission also needs graduation with 50% and the PTET exam.

If you just want a degree

What I Liked

The assignments and exams are really easy.
The best thing about the university is the free time we get.
There is no exams or merit list required for admission.

What I didn’t like

The books are only available in hindi and they are always late in delivering the books.
The workshops rarely ever happens and even if it does happen there is no guarantee that it will be good.

Remarks:

The most important point is that attendance is never an issue, i just need to take my exams along with some mandatory workshops which happens for about 1-2 weeks which can happen in any semester with a prior notice provided through the official website.
