IUU Dehradun Admission Dates 2027

IUU Dehradun Courses and Fees

IUU offers courses in Management, Law, Liberal Arts, Mass Communication, Computer Applications and Hotel Management. The table lists the total general-quota programme fees calculated from the 2026 semester charges.

Boys and girls can use separate hostel facilities for INR 1.43 to 1.58 Lakhs per year. MBA is the university's costliest programme. Its Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship and International Business tracks carry a total fee of INR 7.89 Lakhs.

IUU Dehradun Admission Process

Admission requirements differ by course. Management, law and doctoral applicants can use the relevant entrance examination, while UG applicants may also be considered through Class 12 merit.

1. Choose a programme and check its academic eligibility requirements.
2. Submit the relevant national entrance score, take the IUU admission test where permitted, or apply through qualifying-exam merit.
3. Wait for IUU to shortlist applicants using the accepted score or academic record.
4. Complete the course-specific selection stage. MBA applicants attend a Group Discussion and Personal Interview, while UG applicants complete counselling and document verification.
5. Finish admission formalities after selection.

MBA Admission

IUU considers CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and IUUAT scores for admission to its MBA programme.

• Eligibility: Applicants need a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate. The minimum is 45% for SC/ST applicants.
• Accepted scores: CAT, MAT held in February, May, September or December, XAT, CMAT, or the IUU Admission Test.
• Selection process: The entrance score is used for shortlisting. Selected applicants then attend a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the IUU Dehradun campus.

Applications for the MBA 2027-29 batch are expected after the CAT 2026 result in January 2027. Students appearing for CAT in November-December 2026 can apply once the result is announced.

BBA and UG Admission

Admission to BBA, BA, B.Com, BCA and BHM is based on CUET UG or IUUAT. If an applicant does not have a qualifying entrance score, IUU may use Class 12 merit.

• Eligibility: Applicants must complete 10+2 through a recognised board with at least 45% in the general category. BBA applicants require 50%.
• Selection process: IUU uses the CUET or IUUAT result or Class 12 merit, followed by counselling and document verification at the university.

Law Admission (BA LLB/BBA LLB/LLB)

CLAT or CUET scores are accepted for law admissions. The 5-year BA LLB and BBA LLB courses require at least 45% in 10+2. Admission to the standalone 3-year LLB requires a graduation degree with a minimum aggregate of 45%.

PhD Admission

Doctoral applicants are selected through UGC NET or the IUU PhD entrance examination. A PG degree with at least 55% aggregate is required. Research options cover Management, Law, Liberal Arts, Mass Communication, Computer Applications and Hotel Management.

IUU Dehradun Placements

In the 2025 placement season, IUU's MBA students received a highest package of INR 16.86 LPA and an average CTC of INR 5.86 LPA. Among students who participated, 90% were placed. The university's NIRF Management rank of 74 places it within the national mid-tier group of management schools.

IUU received 2025 rankings in management and business education from NIRF, India Today and Times of India.

The 74th NIRF Management rank places IUU among India's mid-tier management institutions. Its 17th position in the Times of India MBA list indicates a stronger standing among regional and private MBA institutions. IUU Dehradun Scholarships

IUU provides admission-time merit scholarships for students with strong entrance-test scores or Class 12 marks. Government scholarship options are also available to eligible applicants.

Eligible students should apply for NSP and Uttarakhand state scholarships as soon as their admission is confirmed. IUU automatically applies its merit scholarship during admission according to the student's qualifying marks.
