NICMAR Pune MBA and PGD Admission 2026

NICMAR Pune offers seven full-time MBA specialisations with a course duration of 2 years. The MBA in Advanced Construction Management and MBA in Project Engineering and Management are among the most searched programmes at the university. These two courses are meant for engineering and architecture graduates, so the eligible applicant group is narrower.

M.Tech and PGD options are also offered for working professionals. For MBA and PGD admission, students either appear for PG-NCAT or use an accepted national-level exam score, followed by the Personal Interview round.

NICMAR Pune MBA Eligibility Criteria 2026

For MBA admission at NICMAR Pune, students need at least 50% marks in graduation. Reserved category students need 45%. The required graduation stream changes with the MBA specialisation, but engineering and architecture graduates can apply for all MBA specialisations.

NICMAR Pune MBA Selection Criteria 2026

The MBA selection process has 2 stages. Students first submit an accepted national entrance exam score or take PG-NCAT. After shortlisting, they attend the Personal Interview either online or at the Pune campus. The Selection Committee checks academic records along with personal qualities.

• PG-NCAT is the regular admission route and includes an aptitude test and PI.
• Students with valid CAT, XAT, NMAT, CUET PG, MH-CET, GRE, or GMAT scores do not need to take the PG-NCAT aptitude test, but the Personal Interview remains compulsory.
• If a student has both a national exam score and a PG-NCAT score, the stronger score is considered for shortlisting.
• NICMAR holds more than one admission round in an academic year. Seats left after one round are offered in the next round.

How to Apply for MBA at NICMAR Pune?

1. Go to nicmar.ac.in and open Admissions under the Pune campus section.
2. Create an online registration and enter personal and academic details in the form.
3. Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 2,500 online.
4. Students without a national entrance score must register for PG-NCAT and take the aptitude test on the given date.
5. Appear for the Personal Interview online or at the campus as scheduled by the admission office.
6. After receiving the offer letter, pay the first instalment before the deadline to secure the seat.

NICMAR Pune UG Admission 2026

NICMAR Pune UG admission is offered for B.Tech Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture, and Integrated MBA. B.Tech Civil Engineering runs for 4 years, B.Arch for 5 years, and Integrated MBA for 5 years as a BBA plus MBA course.

UG applicants can use JEE Main, MH CET, CUET UG, SAT, or UG-NCAT scores. For B.Arch, a valid NATA score or JEE Main Paper 2 result is also compulsory.

NICMAR Pune UG Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students applying for UG courses at NICMAR Pune must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% marks, or 45% for reserved categories. Integrated MBA applicants must be born on or after August 1, 2005. Reserved category applicants get the age relaxation limit of August 1, 2000.

UG admission at NICMAR Pune depends on entrance exam rank and merit. Every UG applicant must also attend a Personal Interview. For B.Arch, students must have NATA or JEE Main Paper 2, and this requirement cannot be replaced by another score.

NICMAR Pune Scholarships

NICMAR University, Pune gives merit-based and need-based scholarships for UG and PG students. Scholarships are decided every year of the programme through academic performance and eligibility. A student can receive only 1 scholarship in a year.

• Exemplary Merit Scholarship, 100% tuition waiver: Given to the top 2% of approved intake, up to 27 students. Selection is based on PG-NCAT or national entrance exam score and PI performance.
• Distinguished Merit Scholarship, 75% tuition waiver: Given to 3% of approved intake, up to 42 students. The same selection rules as the Exemplary Merit Scholarship apply.
• Rising Talent Scholarship, INR 20,000 per year: Given to 10% of approved intake for extra-curricular and co-curricular achievements.
• EWS Scholarship, 100% fee waiver: Offered to up to 5 students whose family income is up to INR 5 Lakhs per annum.
• EWS Scholarship, 50% fee waiver: Offered to 10% of intake for students whose family income is up to INR 8 Lakhs per annum.

Key insight: NICMAR scholarship allotment works on a first-come-first-served basis within each category. Students applying in Round I or Round II have better chances than those applying later. The Exemplary and Distinguished Merit scholarships are the highest-value awards at NICMAR Pune because they cover a large part of the fee.
