BML Munjal University Admission Dates 2027

BMU has closed admissions for the 2026 academic session. The next cycle is for the B.Tech 2027-28 session and the MBA 2027-29 batch, with applications expected to open in late 2026.

BML Munjal University Courses and Fees

BMU offers courses through the Schools of Engineering and Technology, Management, Law, and Liberal Studies. The table shows general quota fees for the complete course duration.

Among the engineering options, B.Tech CSE has the highest fee because of its demand and specialisation depth. The 5-year integrated BBA+MBA and BA LLB courses combine two degrees at a lower total cost than taking the degrees separately. NRI quota fees are much higher and can be checked with the admissions office.

BML Munjal University Admission Process

BMU admissions are based on merit and entrance exam scores. Students submit the online form on the BMU admissions portal, upload or share exam scores, complete the required selection rounds, verify documents, and confirm admission after paying the fee.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, students must pass Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and score at least 60% aggregate. BMU admits students through accepted entrance scores and merit-based shortlisting.

Students with strong JEE Main scores may get direct admission if seats are available. This route is generally for candidates with 90 percentile and above.

MBA Admission

For MBA admission, students need a bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years in any stream with 50% aggregate marks. Final-year graduation students can apply on a conditional basis.

• Work experience is considered useful, but it is not compulsory for the 2-year MBA

BMU-MAT is BMU’s own route for students who have not appeared for national-level management entrance exams.

Law Admission (BA LLB / BBA LLB / LLB)

For BA LLB and BBA LLB, students must pass Class XII in any stream with at least 50% aggregate. For the 3-year LLB, students need a bachelor’s degree with 45% aggregate. Admission is based on CLAT scores, CUET percentages, or BMU-SAT.

BBA, B.Com, and BA (Hons) Admission

These undergraduate courses accept students from any Class XII stream. BMU considers CUET scores, BMU-SAT performance, or Class XII board merit. Most courses in this group do not ask for work experience or any extra requirement beyond 10+2 completion.

BML Munjal University Cutoffs

BMU cutoffs vary by programme, category, entrance exam, and seat availability. CSE generally has a higher cutoff than Mechanical and ECE among B.Tech branches.

BML Munjal University Placements

BMU placements in 2025 reported a 90% placement rate across B.Tech and MBA batches. The B.Tech highest package reached INR 59.35 LPA from Uber Technologies, and the top-10% B.Tech average stood at INR 19.38 LPA.

For MBA 2025, the highest package was INR 17 LPA, while the average package was INR 12.1 LPA. More than ten MBA batches have passed out from BMU since the university was founded. Average packages have improved across placement cycles, and the Hero Group network supports recruiter access, especially in engineering and operations roles.

Recruiters in 2025 included Deloitte US, ServiceNow, Josh Technology Group, Spartan System, Centific, ConsultAdd, Zigram, Cvent, Cognizant, Hero MotoCorp, HCL Technologies, Hero Housing Finance, and KPMG. Technology and IT services lead B.Tech hiring, while BFSI, consulting, and FMCG companies are major MBA recruiters. BMU’s Career Guidance and Development Centre conducts industry engagement activities, mock interviews, and placement bootcamps for students.

BML Munjal University Rankings

BMU appears in NIRF for Management and Engineering. Its best national position is in Management, where it holds rank 77 in NIRF 2025 with a score of 48.41.

BMU also has the QS I-Gauge Diamond Rating at the institution level. Its engineering programmes hold Platinum Ratings under the QS I-Gauge framework. In Education World rankings, BMU is listed as 7th in India in the University category for Engineering and 1st in Haryana in Engineering.

BML Munjal University Scholarships

BMU provides merit-based and equity-based scholarships for students across programme levels. Scholarships are limited each year and are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

To continue a scholarship, students must keep at least CGPA 7.0 and 80% attendance every academic year. Students from economically weaker sections can also get equity-based and need-based support through central government scholarship schemes.

BML Munjal University Campus and Infrastructure

BMU’s 50-acre campus is in Kapriwas, Gurugram, Haryana, nearly 80 km from Delhi on the Rewari-Narnaul Highway. The campus includes academic blocks for all four schools, research laboratories, a central library, and student activity areas.

The university has separate boys’ and girls’ hostels. The yearly hostel fee ranges from INR 2.25 Lakhs to INR 2.36 Lakhs and includes accommodation and meals. Sports facilities include cricket grounds, football fields, basketball courts, and a fully equipped gymnasium. Engineering students use workshop and laboratory facilities linked to the Hero Group’s manufacturing background, especially in automobile and mechanical engineering tracks.

BMU has the QS I-Gauge Diamond Rating, the highest institutional rating in the QS India framework. Its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) has rated the university continuously since 2019-20, showing active work in startup incubation and innovation. More than 50 industry and academic partnerships support research, internships, and live-project learning across all schools.

BML Munjal University vs Bennett University vs Shiv Nadar University

Students looking at BMU in the NCR region often compare it with Bennett University in Greater Noida, promoted by the Times Group and established in 2016, and Shiv Nadar University in Greater Noida, promoted by the HCL Group and established in 2011. All three are private universities in the Delhi-NCR region and attract students for B.Tech and management courses.

Among these universities, BMU has the strongest NIRF Management rank and also draws support from the Hero Group’s industrial supply chain for hiring in automobile, manufacturing, and BFSI sectors. Bennett University has an A+ NAAC grade and a better Engineering NIRF band. Shiv Nadar University is the oldest of the three and has a stronger research and PhD output profile, with wider academic coverage and greater focus on research. BMU may suit students who prefer management ranking and industry-linked placements, while Shiv Nadar may be a better fit for students focused on research or engineering ranking.
