MUIT Admission Dates

MUIT Noida is expected to start its 2027-28 admission cycle in early 2027. The Early Bird Scholarship window for the next cycle is expected during June to August 2027.

MUIT Courses and Fees

MUIT Noida offers more than 60 courses at UG, PG, doctoral, and diploma levels. The table lists key course families with their duration, eligibility, and total General category fee.

The Law School offers BALLB at a total fee of INR 4.92 Lakhs for 5 years. LLM is a 1-year course offered in 12 specialisations, including Corporate Law, Cyber Law, IPR and Technology, Constitutional Law, and Arbitration and Conciliation, with a fee of INR 0.98 Lakhs. MUIT also offers BA and MA in Yoga and MA in Consciousness and Human Potential.

MUIT Admission Process

B.Tech Admission

MUIT Noida offers B.Tech in 4 specialisations: CSE, AI and ML, Data Science, and Cyber Security. Selection is based on merit, entrance scores, or direct admission for students who have 90% or more in Class 12, subject to seats.

• Eligibility: 10+2 with at least 45% in PCM
• Accepted exams: JEE Main / CUET UG / MUIT Entrance Exam
• Direct admission: Available for students with 90%+ in 10+2, subject to seat availability
• Lateral entry: Engineering diploma holders can join directly in Year 2

MBA Admission

The MBA programme has 5 specialisations: Finance, Marketing, HR, IT, and International Business. Students are selected through CAT, MAT, CUET PG, or MUIT Entrance, followed by a personal interview.

• Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline with at least 50%
• Accepted exams: CAT / MAT / CUET PG / MUIT Entrance
• Selection: Entrance score and Personal Interview

Law Programmes (BALLB, BBALLB, LLB, LLM)

MUIT Law School Noida accepts CLAT, CUET UG, and MUIT Law Entrance Test scores. The LLM course runs for 1 year and has 12 specialisation tracks.

• BALLB or BBALLB: 10+2 with at least 45% + CLAT or equivalent
• LLB: Graduation in any discipline with 45%
• LLM: LLB with at least 50%

Other UG Programmes (BCA, BBA, BA, B.Com, Animation)

Admission to these UG courses is based on CUET UG scores or Class 12 marks. Students with 90% or above in 10+2 can get direct admission if seats are available. BA and MA in Yoga and MA in Consciousness and Human Potential also use merit-based selection.

Pharmacy (B.Pharm and D.Pharm)

For B.Pharm, MUIT accepts UPCET, CUET UG, or MUIT Entrance Test scores. Students must have 10+2 with 45% in PCB or PCM. D.Pharm is a 2-year diploma and follows the same entrance route.

PG and Doctoral

MCA in AI and ML needs BCA or BSc CS with 50% and accepts CUET PG or MUIT Entrance scores. M.Tech in AI, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security, IoT, and Machine Learning requires B.Tech or BE with 55% and a valid GATE score. For Ph.D admission, students need a PG degree with 55% and must qualify through UGC NET or the MUIT Doctoral Entrance Test.

MUIT Placements

The Maharishi Industry Relations Cell (MIRC) handles industry contact and campus hiring at MUIT Noida. In recent seasons, the university reported a 70% placement rate and an average package of INR 6 LPA. Engineering, Technology, and Management students formed the main placed groups.

Recruitment has included companies from IT services, BFSI, FMCG, and media. B.Tech CSE and Data Science students are recruited more actively across sectors. Law graduates from MUIT Law School usually move towards corporate law firms, government services, and legal aid organisations instead of regular campus placement routes.

MUIT Noida also conducts Maharishi botFiesta, a national robotics competition. In 2024, it attracted more than 250 teams and helped Engineering students connect with industry leaders and internship opportunities outside the regular placement season.

MUIT Scholarships

MUIT Noida gives merit-based fee scholarships for UG admissions using marks from the qualifying exam. These awards are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and depend on seat availability. Students must keep the required academic performance to continue the scholarship in later years.

The university also has scholarships for strong achievements in sports, performing arts, and literary activities. Merit-cum-Means scholarships are offered to students who meet both academic and financial conditions. Government schemes such as the National Scholarship Portal, SC/ST and OBC post-matric scholarships from the Uttar Pradesh government, and the Central Sector Scheme are also separately applicable.

MUIT Campus and Infrastructure

MUIT Noida is located at Maharishi Nagar, opposite Sector 110, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The campus has six schools: Engineering and Technology, Business Studies, Law, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Media and Animation, and Applied Science and Humanities. Students use central facilities such as a library, computer labs, engineering workshops, pharmaceutical labs, a moot court hall, an animation studio, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium.

Hostels are available for male and female students at the Noida campus. The annual hostel fee ranges from INR 75,000 to INR 1,05,000. The campus is connected to the NCR by metro and road, with Botanical Garden and Sector 101 metro stations serving as nearby transit points.

The School of Media and Animation has production studios for Bachelor in Animation and Masters in Animation students. The Law School has a moot court hall for regular moot sessions and internal law competitions. The robotics and AI laboratory supports B.Tech students and the annual Maharishi botFiesta competition.

MUIT vs Sharda University vs Galgotias University

Students looking at private universities in the NCR for Engineering, Management, and Law often compare MUIT Noida with Sharda University in Greater Noida and Galgotias University in Greater Noida. MUIT stands apart through its Yoga, Consciousness studies, and Maharishi tradition programmes along with regular technical courses.

Among the three, MUIT Noida has the lower B.Tech and Law fee structure. Sharda University has stronger international student diversity and a wider medical and allied health sciences portfolio. Galgotias University has a stronger overall placement volume and NAAC grade. MUIT's main strengths are its Yoga and Consciousness programmes and affordable Law courses.
