IACS Kolkata Application Process

  • Visit the official website of IACS (i.e.) http://www.iacs.res.in/.
  • Then, Click on the “PhD Student” link under the “Apply@IACS” or Admission Notice 2021 under the “Academic Notice board” Tab on the right side of the homepage.
  • A new page will be redirected where the candidates will find two links (i.e.) “Application Form for admission to the program” and “Synopsis of Applicant for admission to program”).
  • The application form will be a word document file while the synopsis (need to be filled for Ph.D. only) will be an excel file.
  • Click on both the links and fill the application form as well as the excel file.
  • After filling the application form as well as the synopsis file if applicable, candidates may pay the application fee to the account of IACS as mentioned in the application form.
  • The application fee of INR 1,200/- for general candidates and INR 600/- for reserved candidates is to be paid online.
  • After paying the application fee, mention the transaction no. and date of payment in the application form and submit it online.
  • For Ph.D. course, candidates may send both the files (i.e.) application form and the synopsis file to the Academic office, IACS via the mail ID- phd.application@iacs.res.in with the subject mentioned as “PhD Program, IACS – Spring Semester 2023”.
