I always wanted to be a MBBS graduate . My interest about functioning of human body have forced me to opt for this course. Teachers are well qualified from various premium institute of India. Teachers have also work experience in Untied states and various other countries . Teachers are very experienced . Teachers teaches us through various teaching methods such as seminars, lectures, practical, posting, self directed learning , stories etc. which makes teaching very interesting And we enjoy studies . Exams takes place quite often. 9 semesters in whole MBBS which are divided in different years . In 1st semester in first year there are 2 semesters with the interval of 3 months then pre- proff and proff exams takes place . Second year is of 1.5 year with 3 semesters . Third year have 2 semesters and final year also have 2 semesters.
Most of the students opt for post graduation that is specialty courses various institute after clearing NEET -PG or INI -CET . Some opt for civil services . Some become medical officers. Some starts private practices hence there many options after MBBS . There is no such placements as in engineering colleges . But there is internal quota of 20% within the college on post-graduation.

We need to complete an year of Internship compulsorily for MBBS graduation. They offer us 30k/month in salary which is fine for a government medical college. It is stressful due to high patient load but manageable.

Because it was near to my home and also a reputed central institute with such a low fee structure I don't think that anyone who lives in Punjab and nearby states is going to leave this college during their counselling process.

Academics is very well managed here. Facilities are from very valuable colleges and are very supportive and make everything clear to students. There are nodal officers here who tell students about their respective scholarships. Fees are much less like just 6000 for 5.5 years. No hostel fees, electricity bill, only mess fees of 3400/month we have to pay
