- People are nice , we get a lot of good friends in the campus.
- OPD is busy , hence many different cases are present for study
- Research is promoted a lot , many sts project gets selected
- Infrastructure and cleanliness is very nice .
- Only 2 sharing in one room in girls hostel .
- Fees is very less , hence its almost free.
- Many conferences and academic events are held
- Sports competition are conducted in different sports.
Dislikes
- There are less extracurricular activities as compare to other colleges
- There is no gym inside the college , but there is gym within 2 km range
- 3 sharing in boys hostel , while 5 sharing in 1st year for boys.
- There is no proper sports complex in campus
- No glamorous night life in city , city is not that developed as delhi
- Only 1 restaurant is open for 24 hours , while all other closes . Less options for night cravings .
Remarks :
there are no group discussions , interview or written test for admission . Only NEET rank is required. I have considered following factors during choosing college - AIIMS is a Institute of national importance. AIIMS tag have its own brand Fees is almost negligible 20% reservation is there in pg very good infrastructure and facilities facilities are very good . faculty is best laboratories are very well equipped.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to be a MBBS graduate . My interest about functioning of human body have forced me to opt for this course. Teachers are well qualified from various premium institute of India. Teachers have also work experience in Untied states and various other countries . Teachers are very experienced . Teachers teaches us through various teaching methods such as seminars, lectures, practical, posting, self directed learning , stories etc. which makes teaching very interesting And we enjoy studies . Exams takes place quite often. 9 semesters in whole MBBS which are divided in different years . In 1st semester in first year there are 2 semesters with the interval of 3 months then pre- proff and proff exams takes place . Second year is of 1.5 year with 3 semesters . Third year have 2 semesters and final year also have 2 semesters.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is there after final year, ?30,070 / month are given as stipend. We get to learn a lot in internship. Internships takes place in different departments , hands -on are there . Faculties, senior residents, junior residents are very support and teaches a lot .
Placement Experience :
Most of the students opt for post graduation that is specialty courses various institute after clearing NEET -PG or INI -CET . Some opt for civil services . Some become medical officers. Some starts private practices hence there many options after MBBS . There is no such placements as in engineering colleges . But there is internal quota of 20% within the college on post-graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no difference in fees according to category. Total of ?5856 is the fees of whole 5 years . Registration fees - ? 25 Caution money - ? 100 Tuition fees - ? 1350 Laboratory fees - ? 90 Student union fee - ? 63 Hostel rent - ?990 Gymkhana fees - ? 220 Pot fund - ? 1320 Electricity charges - ? 198 Mess security - ? 500 Hostel security - ? 1000 No scholarship or financial aid are available for students . Fees is very very affordable. It’s the lowest you can pay for MBBS . Fees is lower than the state medical colleges . Hence affordability is maximum. Other government colleges have fees starting from 30,000 per annum here you are paying 5856 rupees for whole 5.5 years course with best infrastructure and best facilities and best faculty. ?3400 per month is the fees of mess which includes meal of 4 times .
Campus Life :
There is no college fest yet in our college but we are planning to conduct one. Sports week take place in February . Infuse is literary event which takes place in October , in which various workshops takes place. All festivals are celebrated with full glory and vibes . Various festivals like Ganesh Chathurthi , Navratri etc . Are celebrated very vibrantly .
Hostel Facilities :
We can only live inside hostel, outside living is not allowed. A central mess is present just behind the hostel. Good quality is acceptable and hot food is served. Hygiene care is at utmost importance. There is a college canteen (chana samosa is really tasty) . There are 2 cafeterias were patients attendants can also order food . There are variety of dishes within a week in mess . Panner is given twice in a week . Chicken is given once in a week while egg curry is also there once in a week . Snacks have maggie , pasta , chowmine , bhelpuri , patty etc. breakfast have different different parathas and poha according to days . Sweet dishes are give twice in a week . Rs.3400 is to be given every month for mess . A amul is there in college campus from where you can buy various juice , shakes , packets , coffee and tea .

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
