AIIMS Bibinagar Admission Dates 2026

MBBS selection at AIIMS Bibinagar is based on NEET UG and MCC counselling. Separate central examinations conducted by AIIMS Delhi are used for nursing and paramedical courses. The upcoming INI CET schedule relevant to the January 2027 postgraduate intake is given below.

AIIMS Bibinagar Courses and Fees

AIIMS Bibinagar runs undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-speciality medical programmes. The following fees apply to General category students under the institute's fee schedule.

Students can apply for accommodation inside the campus. The hostel charge is up to INR 4,228 per year. Rooms are generally allotted to MBBS and nursing students according to availability.

AIIMS Bibinagar Admission Process

Admission requirements differ by programme. NEET UG is used for MBBS, INI CET is used for postgraduate medical and dental courses, and central AIIMS entrance tests cover nursing and paramedical programmes.

MBBS Admission through NEET UG

Applicants must be at least 17 years old when admitted and must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The minimum aggregate is 50% for the General category and 40% for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD applicants. NTA conducts NEET UG each year, and every AIIMS MBBS seat is assigned through MCC All India Quota counselling.

• Receive the NEET UG result and rank.
• Register on the MCC portal and enter college preferences.
• Take part in three allotment rounds and, when applicable, the stray vacancy round.
• Report to the assigned centre for document checks.
• Pay the required fee to confirm admission.

For the General category, the Round 1 closing rank was AIR 1,705 in 2026 and AIR 1,782 in 2025. Competition is for the institute's 100 MBBS seats.

MD, MS, DM, M.Ch, and MDS Admission through INI CET

AIIMS Delhi conducts INI CET twice each year for admission to MD, MS, DM, M.Ch, and MDS courses. The May examination is linked to the July intake, while the November examination is linked to the January intake. An MBBS or BDS qualification from an NMC-recognised institution is required.

• Complete INI CET registration and appear for the test.
• Join the central counselling process managed by AIIMS Delhi for all participating INI institutes.
• List programme and institute preferences for round-based seat allotment.
• Finish document verification and the required joining formalities.

AIIMS Bibinagar provides MD training in 17 disciplines and MS training in 5 disciplines. The INI CET examination for the January 2027 intake is scheduled for November 1, 2026.

B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Paramedical, and M.Sc Nursing Admission

AIIMS Delhi holds common entrance examinations for the B.Sc Nursing (Hons) course and all seven B.Sc Paramedical disciplines at participating AIIMS institutions. Applicants need 10+2 with PCB and at least 55% aggregate marks. For M.Sc Nursing, students must have a B.Sc Nursing degree and a minimum of one year of registered clinical work experience.

AIIMS Bibinagar Placements and Career Outcomes

AIIMS Bibinagar has no formal campus placement season. Students choose their next step after graduation, such as postgraduate study, public healthcare, private hospital work, or medical service in the armed forces.

Most MBBS graduates take NEET PG and seek an MD or MS seat at AIIMS Bibinagar or another postgraduate medical institution in India. Their clinical training comes from work across the attached tertiary-care hospital. Other routes include government health services, private hospitals, and a short-service commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. Unlike graduates from Telangana's state government medical colleges, AIIMS Bibinagar MBBS graduates do not have a compulsory rural service bond.

AIIMS Bibinagar Scholarships

Students may seek financial help through central government scholarship programmes available at central educational institutions. The MBBS tuition component is already subsidised to INR 1,350 per year. Further assistance depends on category, academic performance, and family income.

AIIMS Bibinagar Campus and Infrastructure

The institute occupies 200 acres in Bibinagar, Nalgonda district, Telangana. It is 60 km from Hyderabad on the Hyderabad-Warangal National Highway, with access to Hyderabad and the Bhongir and Nalgonda industrial belt.

Its 750-bed teaching hospital operates through 31 clinical and para-clinical departments. Facilities include an ICU, an Operation Theatre complex, a Blood Bank, and separate Radiology and Casualty blocks. Patients from Nalgonda and Yadadri-Bhongir districts contribute to a high inpatient and outpatient workload, giving MBBS students experience with varied clinical cases.

Campus facilities include separate hostels for male and female students, faculty housing, a central library, simulation laboratories, skill development centres, a sports complex, and an auditorium. Lecture theatres and research facilities for basic science and clinical departments are located in the academic block.

AIIMS Bibinagar vs AIIMS Mangalagiri vs AIIMS Gorakhpur

AIIMS Bibinagar, AIIMS Mangalagiri in Andhra Pradesh, and AIIMS Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh were established in 2019 as newer AIIMS under Phase VII of PMSSY. Students with NEET ranks from 1,000 to 3,500 often compare them by location, progress of campus development, and access to a major city.

For students from southern India, AIIMS Bibinagar offers access to Hyderabad and its wider healthcare network. AIIMS Mangalagiri may suit students from coastal Andhra Pradesh because it is close to Vijayawada. AIIMS Gorakhpur provides clinical exposure to a large rural patient population in eastern Uttar Pradesh, which is useful for postgraduate study in community medicine and public health.
