Bagnan College, West Bengal was established in July 1958 and affiliated with the University of Calcutta. It offers various undergraduate courses like B. Com, B.Sc. and B.A. (both Gen & Hons.). The college is accessed and accredited with Grade “B” by NAAC. Full-time education programs are offered in morning and evening shifts.

The institute has an excellent PhD., M.Phil. qualified 79 Scholars working on the post of Professors, associate professors and Laboratory instructors. Additional GLI(Graduate Laboratory Instructors) and Library staff members work to facilitate the smooth functioning of the college curriculum.
