I am pursuing bachelor's degree in Commerce (Hons.), I chose Commerce because I have a keen interest in commerce but I chose honours degree because it provides me with a option to pursue research in Commerce for one year during my bachelor's degree (As per New Education Policy), which is a four year degree... I need to Maintain an average of 7.5 Gpa during first three years to be eligible to pursue Research in the final (4th) year... Our department is blessed with the professor's, Our professors have got titles like CA, CS, Dr., PhD and not to mention the experience they bring to the cable in their respective fields.. Professor's are Open, Approachable and always Ready to tackle any Doubts to make sure No doubts ho unheard and unsolved. Exams are fun, twice in a semester and not so difficult, Checking is also lenient.
I chose this college over other's because of the Social Media Presence of the clubs in our college, SWABALAMBAN Club amongst other clubs are quite Active and popular over social media platforms... And the members of these clubs are always Hosting or Joining in Any Event, Workshop, Field Visit, Industry Visit, etc. Also Our College has a Vivekananda Seminar Hall which is Always Hosting some or other Seminar. Out of all the nearby Colleges, Banwarilal Bhalotia College is the most happening college. Admission process was fairly similar to the other colleges, You are required to score Enough Marks in 12th Boards (or equivalent) and you are in the Merit List.. For my batch, 60% was enough..
Read Full ReviewI have taken BA Hindi Honors, and it is a very common course. The teachers of Hindi department are really good and helpful to us. The faculty members have done at least post graduation, and some of them have done PhD as well.
I chose this college mainly because it is budget friendly, and in nearby areas of Asansol, it is one of the best colleges in Asansol. I took direct admission here and the process was smooth. For it, I had to fill an admission form and verify all my academic documents. My course is distributed into semesters and we have final exams each semester. Attendance criteria is 75% minimum for being eligible for the exams.
Read Full ReviewI choose this cource because of my friends. I didn't know about the qualification of faculty and some teacher is good but some teacher only liked some students and gave them good marks and we got only average. Exam is easy and time of the exam is 11 pm to 2 pm
I took admission in this college because this is best college in my city. In this college some thing is good like ground size. Admission process is easy . First we have to fill the onljne admission form and after that come in merit list then you have to take admission. No exam for admission.
Read Full ReviewPlacement cell need to be improved because it doesn't offer good jobs for students. There are only sales and tele caller jobs recruiter comes . The college have to look into more opportunities given to students for placement of students.
This college supported Hindi language teaching and nearby by my location. •Good aspects of college - well infrastructure, good social gatherings, best teaching methods and we'll design curriculum. Bad aspects of college - No proper canteen, Library size is small, Union group which Incourage politics, load of practical works. •Admission process - Apply online on college site~ Merit list comes ~Pay online the course fees~Document verification
Read Full ReviewIt gives placement facilities for the tech background student like BCA apart from that our faculty guides us about career path but no campus was arranged for us. They guided us about MSC and PHD degree and other career options
For the admission u have to score a minimum 65% overall in 12th and specifically 70+ in biology to get selected apart from that no admission test was taken to get admission. The faculties were good and well qualified they shared a very friendly bond with us throughout the course.
Read Full ReviewNo placements are provided for my course (microbiology) . Placements are provided for some specific courses like chemistry, BBA, BCA etc. very few students in a year got placement. The placement percentage may be 2 or 3 percent in a year Recently some recruiters are visited in our college. One of the recruiter was Bajaj finance. The average package was 10,000 rupees per month in the Bajaj finance. As my course has no placements that's why I decided to take admission in M.Sc after completion of my course. After M.Sc, there are little chance for placement from this course.
The fee structure here is much lower than other colleges due to which many boys and girls from lower class and middle class families can do the B.Sc course with less money. Study is very good here than other colleges, regular classes are conducted, attendance is mandatory, class teachers are very good. The college is very big and placements are also given to the students of some courses from here. If my course (microbiology) is mentioned then no placement is given in this course. This college has its own Hostels, Library, GYM, Canteen, Playground, Lab etc. Bad aspects of this college: Placements are very less and for some specific courses. No placement for microbiology course. Hostels and hostels foods are very poor. Hostels are very bad Admission procedure: No exam will conducted for admission to this college. You have to apply a admission form. Then merit list will published and according to merit list admissions will start.
Read Full ReviewThere is a dedicated placement cell in the college for the betterment of the passed students. This cell with joint coordination with many reknown companies gives a good opportunity for the students to settle after graduation.
I choose this college as my relatives who were graduated from this college or studying tells very good things about the college. Also the faculty of this college are really good in terms of academic background.
Read Full ReviewThe placements in the college are really low or you can say there is nothing like placement in the college. The college does have a Career counseling and placement cell but it's of no use. It just focuses on providing a bare minimum earning jobs which offers 8-10000. There are no such things as the highest and lowest earnings packages, it just gives a degree and the rest is your responsibility.
I chose this college because of its accessibility. It is near to my home. No group discussions, interviews, or written tests were taken. It was purely merit-based and the cutoff was around 60%. There are also reservations according to caste.
