Elphinstone College: Scholarships 

Elphinstone college comes up with several scholarships for those candidates who performed exceedingly well academically and even to those who are from the economically weaker sections. 

Given below are a few scholarships provided by the Elphinstone college:

• Bombay Municipal Corporation Endowment Scholarships: Under this, two scholarships of INR 40 are provided each month to the second and third-year students of BA and BSc.
• College Centenary Scholarships: In this scholarship, INR 50 is given every month to the students pursuing BA and BSc who belong to the economically weaker section. Additionally, 27 merit scholarships are handed out each month to the students of BA and BSc of INR 40.
• The college provides 6 centenary scholarships of INR 14 to the first-year students of BA of INR 40 every year.
• It gives 7 Open Merit Scholarships of INR 15 every month to the BA students.
• Lastly, 2 Municipal Scholarships of INR 14 are provided each month to the 2nd and 3rd-year students of BA and BSc. 

How can you avail the Scholarships? 

• The students who haven't failed in examinations and have attended the college and university for the entire year.
• The students who are moving from various colleges can be shortlisted for the scholarship only if they achieve a minimum of 55% marks in the previous college's final examination.
• The scholarship is granted to someone disciplined, has decent behavior, performs academically well, and attends classes regularly. However, the scholarship may get canceled if the candidate does not perform up to the mark our satisfactory in annual examinations.
• The students can avail of the scholarship if they have successfully paid the college and Gymkhana fees.
