I didn't choose It seems like my destiny took me there because i missed my fee submission of delhi university so i have only option at that time. Yes an entrance exam is conducted by the college itself as it is an autonomous Constituent college of University of Allahabad. And admission is based on the merit of the entrance exam

They have proper regular classes and has regular practicals which is 4 days a week. I appeared for cuet which is conducted by nta to get into this college . They'll realeas there cut off marks so if u score enough marks to get into this college u can directly take the admission through website. One can prepare for cuet by revising their 11 and 12 and some basic english and gk.

I had applied for a several colleges but chose this one because of some family issues, because of that iw as supposed to stay in my hometown so... The candidate seeking admission in this college are required to appear for the test conducted by the college itself and once you manage to clear the cutoff you can easily take the admissions. There are no GDPI or personal interview rounds.

I liked about the college was the professors ,the staffs and the infrastructure. Professors are way more polite and take their job seriously, staffs wheather in the administrative office or in the parking area all were so cooperative. And the elegance that ECC holds is next to Allahabad University...one can check on the college website. Only thing I didn't liked was the hygiene, I literally had to clean my seat before using it. The campus was close to my home and is the autonomous branch of Allahabad University which is also called the Oxford of the East so the degree which students of ECC receive is of Allahabad University, which obviously increases one's score in interviews. Also it is said that the ECC is the best out of the branches of the Allahabad University. For BA they charge around rupees 7500 per which is okay when we look at the aspects like what they teach, the professors they have hired.. But I would say marking scheme is quite strict.
