An applicant must meet one of the following qualification conditions:

Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics

Applicants must have a graduate degree in any subject and must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 or equivalent level.

Mathematical ability is assessed through either of these selection channels:

(a) An online examination delivered through Coursera.

(b) A written examination conducted by ISI.

Full-time courses such as B.Stat, MS in Quantitative Economics, and M.Tech require regular classroom study and strict attendance, so they are generally not suitable for applicants continuing in a job.
