BEST COLLEGE IN GUWAHATI,WEST

What I Liked

I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT MY COLLEGE BASICALLY THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE COLLEGE IT FEELS VERY GOOD TO ATTEND COLLEGE.
FACULTIES WERE GOOD AND THEY WERE GOOD QUALIFIED AND THEY HELP YOU SO MUCH IN YOUR STUDY THEY WON'T DISAPPOINT YOU.

What I didn’t like

NOTHING LIKE DISLIKING SOMETHING MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD BUT THE THING I DISLIKE IS MY COURSE FINISHED TOO SOON 3 YEARS WAS LIKE WHAT I WOULD SAY
THE ONLY BAD THINGS ABOUT FACULTIES WERE THEY WERE VERY STRICT IF IT COMES TO STUDY

Placement Experience:

Yeah placement are available after completing the course but I didn't took any placement but I heard that many ofmy friends took placement and now they are in a good position basically you got placement because of your grade and strong communication skills

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted in any internship but my friends were and I heard from them that the environment and work culture while doing internship was very good and the minimum period of internship is 1year where they got to learn many things of their field

Most Detailed Review on Pandu College, Guwahati (Affiliated under Guwahati University)

What I Liked

Well Furnished Classroom with Fans, AC & Ambient Lights. Library is also there with proper seating and enough books to study in free times
Advanced Instrumentation Facilities along with high quality microscope are available
Canteen Facility is available with all sort of Delicious Meals
Wifi available throughout the college campus with clean tidy bathroom and common rooms

What I didn’t like

College Fests are low budget and less popular artists are invited to perform
Mostly Assamese is used as a mode of primary communication.
Class durations are very high i.e., from 9AM - 5PM

Placement Experience:

No placement is provided on campus for my zoology course. While other courses such as MBA have placement cells present on the college premises. Maximum students have a chance to get a placement after completing an M.Sc in Zoology Students have to appear for the UGC-NET examination to get a seat in PHd or to get jobs in college.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities are provided. In various places like Wildlife Survey of India, Indian Forest Service, etc I haven't applied for any internship yet as I am in 2nd semester. However, I have seen seniors applying for summer internships and gaining knowledge.

All about Pandu college

What I Liked

Infrastructure is average Faculty is quite good
Campus life isn't that good but yeah you will get adopt to it quickly

What I didn’t like

Campus is so small There is no washroom in the science block
Faculty is good but there's no permanent biostatistics professor in the department

Placement Experience:

There's no placement and internship offered by the department. You guys need to see for yourself. Don't even expect campus placement from this college. You can do a paid internship outside the college there is no restriction to that

Internships Opportunities:

I didn't do any internship But it is really important and I advise you to do some internship to gain some practical knowledge which gonna work for your placement No make the mistake I made. You should go for an internship
