BEST COLLEGE IN GUWAHATI,WEST

What I Liked

I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT MY COLLEGE BASICALLY THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE COLLEGE IT FEELS VERY GOOD TO ATTEND COLLEGE.
FACULTIES WERE GOOD AND THEY WERE GOOD QUALIFIED AND THEY HELP YOU SO MUCH IN YOUR STUDY THEY WON'T DISAPPOINT YOU.

What I didn’t like

NOTHING LIKE DISLIKING SOMETHING MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD BUT THE THING I DISLIKE IS MY COURSE FINISHED TOO SOON 3 YEARS WAS LIKE WHAT I WOULD SAY
THE ONLY BAD THINGS ABOUT FACULTIES WERE THEY WERE VERY STRICT IF IT COMES TO STUDY

Placement Experience:

Yeah placement are available after completing the course but I didn't took any placement but I heard that many ofmy friends took placement and now they are in a good position basically you got placement because of your grade and strong communication skills

Remarks:

Actually I choosed this college because of my grade in 12th my grade was very low and I am not able to join good college in guwahati like gcc,b.Boruah,k.C das etc.. So, I didn't had any option so, I choose pandu college but overall this college is very good you won't feel like you were in the you feel like home and for commerce you can choose other college but for arts and science stream you should definitely choose this college There are no such criteria for pursuing b.Com from pandu college you just have to pay the fees to join

Most Detailed Review on Pandu College, Guwahati (Affiliated under Guwahati University)

What I Liked

Well Furnished Classroom with Fans, AC & Ambient Lights. Library is also there with proper seating and enough books to study in free times
Advanced Instrumentation Facilities along with high quality microscope are available
Canteen Facility is available with all sort of Delicious Meals
Wifi available throughout the college campus with clean tidy bathroom and common rooms

What I didn’t like

College Fests are low budget and less popular artists are invited to perform
Mostly Assamese is used as a mode of primary communication.
Class durations are very high i.e., from 9AM - 5PM

Placement Experience:

No placement is provided on campus for my zoology course. While other courses such as MBA have placement cells present on the college premises. Maximum students have a chance to get a placement after completing an M.Sc in Zoology Students have to appear for the UGC-NET examination to get a seat in PHd or to get jobs in college.

Remarks:

The College is Affiliated with Guwahati University. The College has a very nice faculty with a total of 10 teachers all are highly qualified. They provide keen support to the students and help in every aspect including paper and journal publications. Group Discussion takes place every semester with assignments. Regular seminars are conducted and various other add-on courses and certificate courses are also conducted in the college. International guest lecturers are also invited to various seminars. The admission process is also easy. The entrance Exam conducted by Guwahati University takes place where you have to qualify and attend counseling to get a seat in the course. Overall a very supportive and well faculty is there who will help you gain knowledge and get a grip on Zoology subject.

All about Pandu college

What I Liked

Infrastructure is average Faculty is quite good
Campus life isn't that good but yeah you will get adopt to it quickly

What I didn’t like

Campus is so small There is no washroom in the science block
Faculty is good but there's no permanent biostatistics professor in the department

Placement Experience:

There's no placement and internship offered by the department. You guys need to see for yourself. Don't even expect campus placement from this college. You can do a paid internship outside the college there is no restriction to that

Remarks:

Our department has a good lab with advanced technology Overall the department is average we can say. For the course biotechnology we have good professors, dry lab and wet lab as well. But there's no placement opportunities.

I love my college

What I Liked

I like the environment, neat and clean campus.
I like teaching system .All professors are very helpful.

What I didn’t like

The price of canteen food are little bit higher than normal price.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be a Hindi teacher. All professors are highly educated and cooperative. They are excellent at teaching. They conducted a semester examination every six months.

Remarks:

The environment of my college is very good. There is a big library in our college. Every type of book is available here. There are also two canteens inside the college. Phones are prohibited in college, due to which students can focus more on their studies. Our college campus is very neat and clean, everyone is maintained disciplines. Our professors are excellent at teaching, they are very cooperative. No, I don't face any group discussions, interviews, or written tests for admission. The admission process of this college is very simple and systematic.
