Patna Women's College Admission to both UG and PG is closed for the academic session 2022-23. The college offers admission to various courses based on its own entrance exams and merits of the candidates.

Patna Women's College offers UG and PG admission in different fields including BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BMC, M.A., MCA, and M.Sc.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying at Patna Women's College for UG courses must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST) in Science, Arts, or Commerce to get admission in BA(Hons).
B.Sc: The candidates must be 10+2 pass out with a minimum of 50% (45 per cent for SC/ST) in Biology or Mathematics.
BCA: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Mathematics as a required subject in Science, Arts, or Commerce.
BBA and BMC: The candidates must be 10+2 in the sciences, arts, or commerce.
For B.Com, candidates must have completed 10+2 in commerce with 45% OR 10+2 in Science/ Arts with 50% marks in aggregate.
B.Ed: The minimum requirement is the completion of BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com or equivalent degree OR Master's degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanities/ Commerce OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology with Science or Mathematics with a minimum 55 per cent (50 per cent for SC/ ST) marks.

Selection Criteria

The selection in most of the UG courses is based on the merit list.
The candidate’s performance during the interview round will also be evaluated.
For courses like B.Com and B.Ed, the final selection will be made based on the scores obtained by the candidates in PUCET, Interview round, followed by Counselling (for B.Ed)

Note: Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination for the current academic year can also apply in case they are able to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with 50% (General category including BC-I & BC-II/EWS) and 45% for SC & ST only and have the required % of marks at the time of admission.

What I Liked

Here the campus life is just very cheerful.
Faculty are very encouraging and supportive.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the placement of the college because it's very low.

Remarks:

Patna Women's college is the most reputed and best college of Patna. It provides alot of opportunities in various fields to the student in comparison with the other colleges of Patna. This college is also known as for its quality of education. To take admission here I'd had to give ab entrance exam . In the exam questions are from the basics of class 11 and 12.

What I Liked

The infrastructure is good. The building is aesthetically pleasing and symmetrical
The faculty of my department was good. The teachers were supportive

What I didn’t like

Almost everything. The college is rampant with favouritism. If you are a cabinet member then you get the right to win everything regardless of whether you are good or not. I've had instances of cabinet members who had taken part in competitions but they end up winning because they are cabinet members. Moreover, I've had one instance where the cabinet member arm twisted the administration into giving her a prize
The other teachers and members of administration are very good at verbal abuse. The cultural administrator once yelled at me infront half of the college for a small problem I solved later that day. They have no respect for the students and don't consider them as adults or even humans.

Remarks:

I was forced to choose this college against my will. I had no intention of joining this place. The only reason I chose this college was because of the pandemic. I had no options, plus it was closer to my home. Moreover there were no interview or GDs. There was a flimsy online test which later my classmates admitted that they cheated on. Plus the level of the class was very poor because of a very loose entrance process.

What I Liked

Infrastructure and campus is very nice .
I like the green campus of my college and clean environment.

What I didn’t like

The one thing I dislike about college is that we don't right to use phone in campus
And it is very strict about uniform.we don't have right to wear western dresses.

Remarks:

College is very good and it is a top college of Bihar. It is girls college and it is famous for its discipline and attendance is very compulsory for my college .I like the college because of green campus and it also provide many facilities like outdoor games ,gym and E library.select the students on the 12 th marks basis.

A review on whether to join Patna Women's College or not

What I Liked

The college campus infrastructure is much better than the other colleges of Patna University.
Faculties and facilities here are much better. Clean washrooms, safe drinking water etc.

What I didn’t like

The college has a big library but many of the books are outdated.
Usage of smartphones inside the college campus is strictly prohibited which leads to many problems.

Remarks:

If you are planning to go for higher studies in Patna and you are a female student then Patna Women's College is the best option out there. Now since the college has got NAAC A++grading choosing the college would be a good option.

Know about the best women's college of bihar

What I Liked

The college have a clean and lolust green campus with a gym, basketball court, and big library.
The classes are regular and the exams are conducted timely.

What I didn’t like

The does not allow the use of mobile phone which makes it quite difficult for the students.
The college authority is really strict about the dress code.

Remarks:

It is one of the most reputed colleges in Patna known for its discipline and academic excellence and offers exposure to extracurricular activities. It also has a great campus in comparison to other colleges with a library, highly equipped labs, and a hostel facility. however, the college doesn't allow to use of mobile phones on the premises. They take their entrance exam offline in the college based on which admission is provided to the students.
